The most accurate subtitles I've ever read👏🏽. They didn't even change the context to make it more poetic, they translated the words as they were and still maintained the flow of the Urdu language beautifully. Who ever did this needs a raise.

The reason the movie is loved is because of how much detail was put into the way Hrithik and Aishwarya acted in this movie. The way they walked, dressed, interacted with other characters it really felt like the stories that we've read about these rulers in texts

Fun fact: Jodhaa’s name in the title sequence is written in Hindi script because the character is Hindu, and Akbar’s name is written in Urdu script, because he’s Muslim.
This song is pretty much about how they fall in love, and how Akbar respects Jodhaa’a strong Hindu faith even though he himself is a Muslim emperor (you saw her praying here too).
Akbar is actually one of the most famous and well-regarded rulers in India’s history - you can look up “Stories of Akbar and Birbal” for great short stories!

Hrittik is playing a Mughal emporer, called Akbar (a muslim). And Aishwariya is playing Jodha (a hindu), Akbar's wife. The film is based on "presumed" history. Kudos to Rick for picking up on the title of the movie, it is combined. Aishwariya's eyes are blue in real life.

This is Hrithik's best movie. His posture, walk, expressions looked so like an elegant emperor. You need to watch the movie. All the songs in it are so beautiful.
If you thought these lyrics were beautiful you have no idea how freaking poetic they are in the original language Urdu. Also it's an A.R. Rahman composition and the singer is Javed Ali.

Those who are fighting over the color of Aishwarya Rai's eyes please do some research before sharing information without the complete knowledge. Her actual eye color is between blue/green and silver and this will keep changing according as per the amount of light rays falling on the eyes , in between. This is due to low presence of melanin in the body.

Guys please do watch this movie and review it. One of the best and most underrated Bollywood movies of all time. Just one thing, please watch it with all the 11 deleted scenes, all of them are amazing, they were deleted only to reduce the duration of the movie which was 4 hrs and 11 mins so they cut it down to 3 hrs and 30 mins lol. PLEASE WATCH AND REVIEW THIS MOVIE!
P.S. I visited the sets and MET HRITHIK during the shooting of one of the scenes in this song when i was a kid, absolute gentleman! Fun Fact: All of it is shot on actual sets. They made an almost full size replica of the Red Fort which is a huge Mughal fort in Delhi and various other sets. MUST WATCH
