Let me put it in this way, for example: you eat a lot of pizza's and you actually ate a lot of pizza's & now you still want to eat but you are running out of money, now one will feel like "koi khiladiye toh mazaa aayega". Something's one will understand when one goes through it. Hope you got it. Now, don't ask me if I smoke like that, I smoked for a year (with my own 💰😂)and stopped it.

I quit 2 months ago. The thought of how much abuse a human body can take and the impact this filthy habit had on my social life hit me so hard I just decided to go cold turkey and see how long can I take it.
It was meant as an experiment but within a week I knew that I never want to smoke ever again.
Reasons were simple, my sense of taste improved, I had more time to play with my nephew and niece, whom I avoided taking out with me, and if I had to my head would try very hard to find a way to still be able to smoke somehow when actually you should be worried about the reaponsibility you have been entrusted with.
Within a month I had enough money left to make first installment on gym membership, get a classy pair if training shoes and the motivation to do take a step towards ambitions Ive always wanted to achieve.
It aint all a fairy tale, I had bad days to, but I naturally had more important things to focus on. The kids made the initiation extremely easier. Any time I feel an urge to smoke again, I think about me dancing with the kids and all the urges go away.
Amateur tip- Best way to handle peer pressure,
1. Say plainly " Im not smoking anymore" or "I quit mate". Like plain and simple. Saying it is believing it. No half assed attempts where you say youre trying to or you are thinking about it. Nada
2. If your peers are not supportive about it, even after repeared reasoning, take the ciggeratte after it has been lit and its supposedly your turn now, take it with a sly smile with an action convincing enough to suggest you are about to take a drag, instead throw it on the ground and crush it.
Laugh and continue.
