You actually need flex tape on the sides in order for it to hang in there firmly. That's what I did and it hung in there properly for years. It only fell down when the room was subject to a lot of tremors. That's when I discovered my wife was cheating on me.

It depends if you have a window recess in your static caravan window, If you use a tension rod you may also need some hooks, or you could use net wire , or a curtain track or pole, Perhaps do a test on one window and see what you like, and then if you are happy with the result get the rest of the windows done
