Excellent reference to gliders. Well done UND!
Outstanding!
Great video!
"Landings are not meant to be saved" man I remember my first crosswind at skill limit "brain locking" on the task of landing, trying to "save" a bad cross winder (11-13 knt. in a C-172) while my instructor (F-4 era Naval Aviator) cooly sat r.h. watching me sweat and fight it; not saying a word. It took a glance of the main wheel on my side, proximity to the s runway marker light can at about the midpoint of the runway for me to finally in frustration voice an expletive like aw F*%#-! and "snap out of it" and remember to "fly the airplane, apply power, and go around!"...only to hear in a cool low voice fit for radio state from the right seat.. "I was wondering when you were going to go around".
Agree. Wanna save a landing? Go Around. That's how we save a landing. Thumbs up!
great videos!
