Hi everyone, it’s May! We’ve gotten some requests to do a video on how we pack our online orders here at Yoseka! I’m excited to share in this video a little bit about our process of packing, from writing thank you notes to wrapping inks in kraft paper.
While our storefront is the perfect cozy haven for stationery, our warehouse/office is set up for productivity and efficiency - it’s not the prettiest backdrop for filming videos, haha! But I hope you enjoy watching me pack some orders with you :) I’d love to do some shorter videos where I pack one order at a time, so leave your order number in the comment if you don’t mind being featured (it’ll be anonymous though!)

I was today years old when I learned I needed an industrial washi tape dispenser.
As someone who fulfills online orders as a part of my work, 17 orders doesn’t _sound_ like a lot, but it’s SO much work and time!! Thank you guys for all the care you take every time, you make it so special and I always appreciate all the effort ❤
Team Yoseka, you always put such care into the packing and orders are truly a joy to receive. I appreciate how you use mostly paper / recyclable packing materials and include all those personal touches with the notes, stickers, and cards. Thanks for this behind the scenes view! p.s. it was also super fun to see what other folks order from you! 😊

- your wrapping skills are amazing! I just read an article of the art of gift wrapping in Japan. Wrapping gifts is about presentation! And those fast wrappers in Japanese stores - whoa. I saw a video here on YT a couple of weeks ago. Impressive!

This was such a relaxing video, thank you May! It's so fun to see behind-the-scenes content like this :). That tape roll/cutter is no joke, no wonder it's a rite of passage to get cut on it! I echo a lot of people in saying thank you to the whole Yoseka team for the care and personalized touches that go into all the packaging.

This was so fun to watch and relaxing. Order fulfillment has always been my favorite part of retail. 😊✨ I love receiving the handwritten note from a Yoseka Team Member. It’s a nice personable touch. One day I hope to visit the shop, but for now I will continue to enjoy the online experience.

Next time you ran out of vid ideas, just do this packing ASMR for the whole duration of work (that's up to you), no one's gonna be disappointed anyways. God bless.
