canceling jealous rage then using the super to keep your rage bar active and filled is hella smart on wallbreak
Yeah I bet most wall breaks you want to do this if you can't kill
If you don't have meter you can also deactivate then use 214H to reenter with a refreshed gage
it's almost like the round is decided when you get hit by that wallbreak overdrive

@@Spectrik Zato is hard but I personally find Happy Chaos harder as execution wise he has frame 1 links and not only do you have to manage concentration but you also have to manage your bullets. Along with having the weakest defense in the game. Eddie will eventually come back but if HC has no bullets he has to choose between getting them back or regaining concentration which they nerfed even more so it’s more likely to run out now than ever.

As long as she doesn’t get read cuz if she gets read in her jealousy into a block string then she’s cooked. The meter management is definitely key I wish sin had some meter management so I can continue on the offense without having to reset to neutral cuz I don’t have enough stamina

A.B.A. is the literal personification of "C-call an ambulance!... But not for me!" She either doesn't get to play or she doesn't let her opponent play, specially if it's a zoner. And I'm not saying this as a bad thing tho, she's unbelievably fun and really challenging, wich makes her even more fun. I'm thinking in leaving Testament as a secondary and becoming an A.B.A. main at this point. That's how fun she is.

Honestly like this match up because he helps me realise that A.B.A shares similar weaknesses to Goldlewis that being shes slow but once she starts her pressure shes really good. Also helps me see which of HC's moves she can punish

I think the idea was a gamble that Gobou would run forward after WB to keep up the pressure and not waste time in Jealous rage, and if it had succeeded it would have given Sanakan enough of a tempo swing to have a very tangible chance of taking the game back.
Gobou just read for this line and walked back first because he’s a beast.

Also parry is just for meter. Less for reversals
gotta look at aba parry differently from things like anji spin where there's a clear interaction win by the time it resolves. for example at 7:10, she parries a gunshot but gets 2K 2D'd, but also builds enough gauge to jell out and secure a wallbreak/~45% damage/50% gauge a few seconds later.
@@Reitsuchi parry is only really good for some things like me playing sin n she eats my entire special + follow up feels bad n her parry is just a long invulnerability window so any of my multi hit heavies gets smoked.

You can still block during Guard Crush and the usual way to make it shorter is by (its either mashing or going ham on the directions cant remember) but if you arent fast enough or get hit by a mix up the combo counter turns purple because its not a “true” combo since the opponent DOES have time to make the combo drop but they weren’t fast enough on the mash or lost the 50/50

Right at the beginning of the active frames of his 6S there’s a big hitbox right above his head. With good positioning, you can make it so the opponent is behind you when it connects. So in this case they are being hit by HC 6S with HC on the left side, launching them to the right.

A.B.A and Paracelsus come from the same lab. She just kind of found him one day and fell in love with him, so she made it her goal to find her lover an actual body. Paracelsus is more-or-less a reluctant spouse to A.B.A. But yeah, the key is her husband.

Aba fucked chaos when chaos was in close range, chaos fucked aba in long range. Aba has an anti zoner super too. It’s fine the way it is.
Chaos is the most punishable character in the game, the guy can’t even block with his gun out. It’s just that he drags you down to be at his same level of punishability with his gun. But guilty gear players don’t like being forced to use their brain for some matchups

My friends been having a really hard time playing her against my testament, too. Projectiles, big normals, and a teleport pretty much meant that until he got jealousy mode, I was in complete control of what distance we fought at

The character just came out so time will tell although I can definitely see how Axl, HC, or Johnny are insanely difficult match ups for Aba. Millia too as she’s very fast and probably can just dance straight through Aba’s neutral outside of rage.
She either doesnt play or is the only player. Mad fun but boy no moroha feels like shit.

Any gameplay showing a character fighting happy chaos is a bad example to see what a character is all about.
High level gameplay is like 5x slower paced than any match I’ve had in floor 3.

Hc needs that ball nerfed it makes his strong kit that much stronger atleast make him need to time his shots instead of them being instant.
He gets pushed towards negative penalty whenever he throws ball.

Day 1 of saying that Aba alt looks horrid
I don't care who hates me for saying this, but he should have never been added to this game. There's a difference between a zoner and a spammer. Guns in a fighting game was just a dumb idea. Dizzy? Cool. Axl? Cool. Venom? Cool. Crappy Chaos? Not cool. Same with Asuka. This ain't Magic the Gathering lol.
I like Asuka as a zoner. At the very least, his fireballs can be seen travelling from point A to point B.
Happy Chaos is a cool looking character, but I do agree his "zoning" is retarded and very annoying to fight against. Win or lose, it's not satisfying fighting against him as you are forced to fight him in a specific way.
And to people saying he's a difficult character to play as can go suck it. Anyone can get used to any character if they train and play enough. Thus, the difficulty excuse is invalid.
Tbf Chaos is annoying especially if you play big body characters with poor mobility ( Goldlewis and Potemkin) but I think he's gotten a lot more balanced compared to when he was first released
