I love Jonathan Frakes, his enthusiasm for Star Trek is so endearing and wonderful. He loves the show and the movies. I could listen to him talk Trek all day. It's such a treat to hear him talk about the movie, the actors, and how much he really appreciated everyone who worked on the film.
Greatest Trek movie ever made; could've been the same content with any other director and it wouldn't have come out half as well. Absolute artistic genius. And great tidbits in this commentary. Ok, I'll go do something else now.
Frakes is a true asset to Star Trek. He not only played one of the most iconic characters and directed both films and episodes but his enthusiasm for the franchise keeps the love for these older series alive to younger fans like me!
This is missing the Sector 001 battle against the Borg Cube. Did you just cut it cause there was no commentary? I would've had to imagine Frakes would've had something to say about that spectacular sequence.
Frakes is the man. He truly loves the franchise and the people that gave him a career. He is underappreciated by the mainstream.

Wow. He really made this work. I'm impressed that he kept this commentary going all by himself. Good stuff. Great film.
I love his attitude. He loves making movies, he loves Star Trek, he loves all the people he works with and he loves this movie.
From the very first noise he makes you can tell how drunk Frakes is.

Guaranteed he mounted the chair to do this commentary with the Riker maneuver
Such an appropriate thumbnail for the video! I've rarely seen a commentary as genial and indepth as this. He's clearly in love with his job.
That was really fun to listen to. Thanks for uploading. :)
Seems to be about 3 minutes and 27 seconds missing during the Borg battle at
