I remember this. I was 21 and at my local Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday night watching TV and hanging out with my fellow firefighters. Great TV!
Love in the First Degree -- great song by a great band! These three cousins could really harmonize and they played their own instruments. I really like that they're actually playing the song too and not lip-syncing to the studio version. Badass!
my cousin and i went to see the eagles and we were talking and my grandmothers neighbor told us about a new group called alabama ...she said they were gonna make it big....she gave us some tickets and we went to see them in birmingham al..we were some of the first to meet them autograph pics and first to join their fan club...they invited us to a thing they called the june jam.....so i knew their aunt and some distant relatives of mine married all cousins ...so i dont know how close whom is to whom....but we seen them about 5 times during the early years...
I love the show hee haw that was real country and talent on that show not like this shit they trying to pass off as country sounds more like pop and hip hop than country listen to Alabama that's real country

Randy and Teddy still tour - greatest country group! They honor Jeff at every concert. The Alabama museum in Ft. Payne is a must for fans.
Amen
I'll listen to Alabama, till the day I die. I love these guys.
It's been said a country performance hasn't hit big time until they go on HeeHaw....fact.,
