I use the Dexter 1378 8" knife for all my fish up to the big stripers. I find the curved tip on the wide blade works well to control the knife. I like to use the 2333-8 to skin them because I like how the thinner blade works for removing the skin.
@@baysidedave9962 good tip, I will keep my eyes out for those, hadn’t thought about those for working with fish but they seem to work pretty good in your demos.
What kind of knives do you prefer to use on the 3-8 lb saltwater fish? Do you have a separate preference for the larger fish?
