Vorwerk VK-117-IH upright vacuum cleaner with ET30 power nozzle

Almost non used Vorwerk VK-117 upright vacuum cleaner with 100W ET30 carpet nozzle. Made in Germany. There was date on dustbags 18.12.1984 so maybe it is so old. 250W bypass-motor. All attachements included when I bought this on last week. This was very cheap only 10 euros.

My mum had this vacuum, bought in 1976. She still says that it was terrific, though it was hard to reach under low furniture. She has a new Vorwerk now.

I have the same version with the red switch. If I remember correctly, this is the third and final iteration of the 117. I have never seen that short handle. I need to get one. This is super handy.

hi im a vorwerk salesman :) that was my mother's 1st Kobold. The best one ever :) I love this model! It's a fantastic vacuum cleaner..! She bought it in 1976 and we still use it (although we replaced it with several further models). Just a tip: use it with a Kirby bag so it holds small particles better ;)

Vincenzo Mastrovincenzo how can you use it with Kirby bags? The Kirby bags have the open at the middle, this vorwerk has the open at the end!

in Germany the main body was sold during 1975 - 1977, but is was sold in other countries up to 1989. The VK117 with a green hood and green switch was made from 1972 - 1975. The power nozzle ET 30 was made f rom 1980 - 1985. In Germany, that cleaner came with the ET 20 power nozzle made from 1975 - 1980.
