That truck is smoking hot👍🏻
auto leveling headlights will be a game changer!
I think F150s have self leveling headlights, don't they?
Would be great to see a night view so we can check out all the cool lighting inside and out.👍
Congrats on the new rig JD!
Quite enjoyable. Not many people do videos on “Aspirational TRUCKS” that aren’t Raptors or TRXs.
For me, I’d like to see the winch retrofit into the front, OR, a modular winch mount so you can have a winch in the front, or back, and store it in the bed/garage.
Glad u got yours..still waiting for my 2024 F450
I love my 2021 F 450 king ranch. Bad ass truck. Period. I've owned all trucks from the big 3. When you need to haul a load the Super Duty is the boss.
Just incredible, that is a beautiful beast. It’s just hard to imagine that it cost more than my first 3 bed 2 bath brand new brick home back in 1985. That same home today is valued at double what I payed for it also. Love your truck.
Three times my 3bdrm, 2 bath in SoCal 1975.
I'll keep my 1990 Dodge D350 it works for me and it's paid for. and its my little dump truck.
JD your the man congratulations again I can’t wait to see the inside:… definitely I am a 100% diehard GMC guy but this truck is definitely well made and tech focused keep up your hard work you earned it
Congratulations JD looks Amazing 👏🏾
Beautiful truck , great review, getting
me educated for my next purchase.
Congratulations on your new truck! I recently purchased a new 2023 F-450 Limited, and after watching this video I learned a few things! I'm looking forward to watching all of the video reviews of your new truck.
This is the ultimate towing machine nothing comes close to this pickup truck and it is the only truck worth buying!
🤣
Thanks for making
Your going to love it ...We have a 2023 F450 Limited and absolutely love it they are a real Beast ...Wishing you the best ...!!!!❤💯💯❤️
What a beautiful truck. Congrats.
Would love to see you review the 2kW pro power on board system with loads on the 120V plugs. Others have experienced issues with the pre-2024 F150's that have this pricey inverter; questionable whether it is pure sine wave.
Super beautiful truck with chrome handles I can't wait to see the full interior tour
Such a Great looking truck 🎊Best of luck. Can’t wait for the inside review. 👍🔥🔥💙
That thing is beautiful.
Excellent !!!
Sweet white pearl of Molly, awesome.
That is a very nice truck. Like the color. Like the power stroke motor. Will be excited to see some videos seeing this truck towing you campers. Have a good day!
Beautiful Truck! Enjoyed the overview. Three quick notes: You can order the side drop steps if desired, they bolt up nicely. The spray in bed liner is an Listed Option for Limited & Platinum, called the Tough Bed @ $595. Several Others had to drop the Tough Bed to get truck built, it was one of the items holding up builds. Personally I think the Factory Spray in Liner is exceptional to 3rd Party. The FX4 adds Hill Decent Control, Skid Plates Transfer Case & Fuel Tank, and Off-Road Tuned FT/Rr Shocks.
congratulation JD
Cool video, just got my F-450 King Ranch can’t wait to watch your inside video of the truck 😊
I do so love that truck.
Congrats on your new truck, JD. I must admit, I miss big red, as a Nebraska fan!
Spectacular looking rig!!! Ive never owned a ford truck but dam that looks good .
Beautiful truck JD 👊🏾🤘🏾
Dream truck!
Nice truck. Hope it runs smooth with no vibration. My 22 450 has always run with no vibration. Some 450 trucks seem to have the shakes. Glad you got the truck.
Beautiful truck
Beautiful truck!
Congratulations!! I love it I have a 2022 I tried to wait unfortunately I couldn’t but next one will probably be a 25 model so I am definitely looking forward to it.
Awesome
Very nice truck. Hope it works out for y'all.
Hope the 10 speed holds up to the torque.
God bless and y'all stay safe.
cool! but i will defiantly miss the old one.
He bought this truck so he can park it next to his trailers which never seem to go anywhere anymore
Nice looking truck
JD Love the new truck. My 2020 Ford F-350 was purchased because of the 5600 lbs. payload. Under 5,000 lbs would cut it close on are Riverstone tongue weight. I do love the wide track front end in parking lots on a 450's but never feel like I need it when I'm backing in my fifth wheel after almost 4 years OTR.
Thanks for the video.
Awesome! We've been very happy with our '23 F450 Lariat Ultimate. A Platinum would have been nice, but I had already waited 17 months and didn't want to chance it not getting built in '23 (and I don't know that it would have been worth the extra $8k for me). We came from a 350 dually and have been pleasantly surprised with the ride and absolutely love the turning radius. I do wish they included the auto-leveling headlights on the Lower trims. The LED's are super bright, so no complaints there, but they do still aim high when the truck is loaded down.
Nice. Very nice in fact. I really like the low profile tool box. Torque numbers these day are amazing. Going back many years those 671 Detroit Diesels that were pushing around GM city buses, among many other things, maxed out a hair over 800 ft lbs. Didn't realize duallys had no locking diff even with FX4
Beautiful truck. I really wanted the velocity blue for my truck but had to settle for the white just the same as you.
I think you’ll find that white will grow on you quickly.
JD that is a gorgeous truck. I have a 21 F350 Platinum and the front sensors are really nice. I actually use the front camera when I park because you can’t see. Also the sensors in the tailgate when it is down is great especially when hooking up a fifth wheel.
Congrats on new Truck! Wires for upfitter switch's are in the black box behind the battery on the passenger side (at least they are in my 2022 F-350). Looking to move up to a F-450 in 2025.
Dealers have turned into thieves selling trucks. They get a $100,000 unit in, and either market it up 15% or they drive it 300 miles, title it and market it up even more and sell it used. Dispicable
Nice looking.
Ditto about auto level-any vehicle that can tow should have it. New truck looks great.
Cool
Nice truck! I have the F350 SRW Platinum in the white love it!. The upfitter wires are behind the passenger battery little black box you can see behind it. The truck also has the ability to back itself up to the trailer on it's own you should check out the video for trailer connect assist. and the scales also work for the trailer to load level and for tongue weight the tail lights will show that as well!
Nice truck
Just got my 24 f450 limited, waited 2 years for it. Same color as yours. Mine needs rear mud flaps like yours.
I have 67 miles on it and already have my superhitch and tie downs for my arctic fox installed. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.
I'd look at a Ranch Hand front grille guard. That will give you the protection without swapping bumpers.
Very beautiful truck, the color is probably the best thing.
my work got a bunch of new 2024 f350 trucks with the new base 6.8L V8, the dually's payload sticker was outrageous, i think somewhere around 6k in payload or something close to that, absolutely insane. Nice trucks with good capabilities but I'm still not sold on that front end.
Hey put the 2 inch receiver on front of truck like I did on my new 350. Get the 10,000 lb one. Got it from your buddies at etrailer.
Upfitter wire bundler is usually around the passenger side battery fuse box. Also, be aware of the upfitter circuits that passthru the firewall.
If I may ask why you didn’t keep your actual Alcoa wheels and centramatic rings. Especially with the cheap Chinese knock off wheels that are factory installed.
Switch wires might be like 22 model has it’s own relay box next to passenger side battery Congrats on the new truck
Congratulations on the new ride. I’m going to miss big red but my goodness 500 hp 1200 foot pounds of torque. This thing will tow a 45,000 pound trailer no problem not sure derated (jk)but oh my goodness it’s insane. please do a segment on it maxed out. I don’t want you to break your truck but just show the people we need to see 40,000 on here JD also love the color it matches all of your RVs perfectly no bumper upgrade. Please leave it stop she’s gorgeous the way she sits in my opinion. Take care.
Look up wicked bumpers. Ben is the best the bumpers don’t stick out like road armor and other bumpers. I have them on my F250 I love them. Wicked bumpers is small business American made and top notch work. Ben is out of Nebraska
outfitter wiring is located under the small fuse box on the passenger side of the engine compartment next to the battery area
“Ap leek Kay” 😂
nice
So now the question is, are you going to repaint your red utility trailers white or black to compliment the new truck?
I have been thinking to upgrade my F350 Dully to a F450, and I was on the fence about the the high output 6.7, but not now. I am going to start looking for a new truck. I pull a 40' 16,000 pound 5th Wheel and a 40' 14,000lb enclosed gooseneck car trailer for my show car. Your video is timely. Also, the main reason to consider trading in my F350 Platinum Duly is the turn radius. At car shows, I'm generally downtown in city's like Cincinnati, Birmingham and others with not much lane clearance. Thanks
Congratulations on your new BT vehicle. I am interested to see how it handles when you’re towing something and if the 10 speed transmission does any searching between gears when you tow uphill. I’ve heard that was an issue for the 2020-2022 year transmissions. I have a 2019 F-450 Limited and really enjoy driving it. I just swapped out the cold side intercooler pipe with the SPE unit and I can actually tell the difference. I noticed that Ford hasn’t changed the stock pipe and still use the rubber pipe with the plastic connector on top. Did you change out the one on your 2017 F-450?
The new front clip keeps growing on me, thinking about getting a new 7.3 gasser F350 as i already have a diesel Excursion and zero need for two diesels
I have a 2024 F350 dually lariat ultimate package with a power runningboards. Both of mine come out at the exact same time. FORD said that was changed in 2023. Also where did you get your mud flaps? Congrats on the new truck!
The f450 has 4.30 gears. The diesel f350 drw gets the 4.10 as the deepest gear option.
Jd they are next to the passenger side battery box
Beautiful truck. I know you are undecided, but I believe the factory (optional) winch may not be compatible with the F-450. Enjoy the new rig. I believe it was mentioned in your previous video, the bed tie down cleats, formerly known as Box Link, do not work with the tie down plates in the 2024. You will need the Box Link plates to use the cleats you have. The plates in your new truck are intended to be used as is.
Nice n how’s it on fuel ⛽️
Great exterior review! For as much as Ford charges for one of these beasts, how come they don't include the actual Alcoa wheels, instead of a copy cat?
agreed
Maybe so they don’t have to rely on another supplier to keep up with the amount of trucks they sell.
Purdy, paint match on the badging and tailgate feature would put this thing over the top.
Can you explain how you will hook up the camper's package with the camera hookup? Looking to get F450 with a G3950 Brinkley. Hoping to be able to hook the camera into the truck's monitor.
Congratulations on this purchase. I Love It. Will you be putting the wheel balancers on for vibration.
There's no vibration at all.
Beautiful truck JD, let us know when you knock that front valance off. My company truck is a 2021 and it took about a month to knock off on a job site. They hang too low.
Next thing, watch that dashboard where it sticks out right there by that awesome flag. I've about broke a knee cap getting in twice. It's been about a year since I did that.
My personal truck is a Ram Cummins and I pull my Chaparral 5th wheel with it.
Curious if you could still incorporate air bags with the smart scale by weighing the trailer prior to adding air to the desired pressure?
Awesome truck! I’m curious to what makes this truck 400 lbs lighter than your old one. Good to see the increased payload. 👍🏼
Please report back on the PROJECTOR LEDS quality. I have seen many ppl complain about the distortion, or defining lines light out in front of you at night. I'd like to hear and SEE your experience with those.
Spray in is still an option it’s called tough bed
For 20k more you could have a limited, still platinum is a nice trim 🎉
I have them on my 23 xlt
Once you start towing and find out the ride isn't as good without the airbags you'll put them on. 😁👍
I’m between this in the Limited Trim and a Denali Ultimate 3500 Dually. Decisions decisions…
Very curious where the 400lb savings came from compared to your last truck
Are these new trucks now a decade post emissions rules running smoothly, or is there still an issue with particular filters clogging and the degradation from the regenerations? I don’t know enough about the newer stuff, I have an 05 dually and are hesitant to upgrade. Curious to know your thoughts.
Understand your comment about the scale and air bags but wouldn’t it be better to have airbags, timbrens or SuperSprings to give your truck the support it needs so it isn’t sitting low in back? What’s your 5th wheel pin weight? Maybe won’t squat anyways.
3,650lbs. Plus about roughly 800lbs of gear and people in the truck when RVing.
Are you doing the Titan Fuel 65 gallon replacement tank?
Beautiful truck. I ordered my 450 In September of 23 and still haven’t gotten a VIN # assigned. I was wondering if the 2025 f450 will change in body style. Has anyone heard anything about change for the 2025 f450?
What do you thank of the fuel tank and tool box conbo
The front parking sensors should also be oncoming traffic avoidance. Don't mess with the front bumper unless it's factory accy. Not having locking rear diff explains why Changing lanes couldn't get up his driveway.
Yep, I had explained that in the collaboration video I did with them.
This truck is perfect for him and all the little trailers and goosenecks that he tows.. I tow heavy on a daily basis, day in day out year after year, so therefore, I went with a Ram Cummins high output with the Aisin transmission. Ram has truly been the best truck for heavy towing and hot shot trucking. Although Ford is getting a lot better these days I will give them that much
You should drive one of the newer model fords, night and day better truck for towing than the Ram. More HP, More Torque, and a 10 speed that always has you in the correct rpm range. I went from a Ram to a new ford and its crazy the difference. Only thing the Ram has better is their killer exhaust brake, but Fords is decent.
I like my 23 F3506 seven HO regular cab 4 x 4
I have a2023 f350 the steps on the side are useless with a tool box unless you add grab handles
I have a 2024 F-450 Limited. Here is the one thing missing: there is no factory TPMS on the F-450. My best guess is the sensors only work intermittently through the commercial grade tires so Ford disabled the software and doesn't install the sensors. Looking for any suggestions on a realible after market setup. Thks.
For a F450....I wonder which rides better for street purposes, fx4 or 4x4?
