Actually here's a better method How to make a Sonic chao Step 1: give it run chaos drives until it gets to level 10 on run Step 2:feed it nuts until its stamina is 10 Step 3: get the chao to neutral color by switching charicters and petting it. Step 4: wait for it to evolve,it will be lime green with green stripes at age 0 after it evolves. Step:5 give it 10 more levels in run after it evolves so it should be level 20 in all,10 as a infant and 10 more after it evolves. Step 6: If you do the 5 steps correctly the chao will be blue with the curved quills by age 3-4 so all you need to do is leave the game on and wait for it to grow and age. It's the same thing for the shadow chao except you have to make it a dark chao with a dark charicter when it's still a infant instead of neutral. If you want to work on individual chao and don't want your other chao to age and die,put it in the daycare and it will never age until you pick it up again.

I know! But its annoying when the chao doesn't look at me and when it takes the drive and eats it, but it useful for and animals cuz it makes it way more easier.
u dont have to hang out with the chao as sonic at all, just keep giving it more run animals/drives so its second evolution is run and this works with literally any chao, if its a coloured chao then it wont turn blue but it will be in the same shape as sonic as long as its second evolution is a run type, second evolution doesnt involve a cocoon it happens gradually and finishes when the chao is around 3 and it isnt permanent so u can change the chao's second evolution type by giving it other animals/drives
Nice video and my go to stage for any chaos drives in sonic adventure 2 is Prison Lane because the chaos drives easier to get than levels like any other Tails level
I think the reason the chao has to be neutral is because sonic and shadow are both hedgehogs with spikey heads but one is dark the other is hero, and obviously we want the chao to get a spikey head to resemble sonic or shadow, just my theory
hi so i was trying to get the shadow chao from your video so i did the steps to do it but i messed up somewhere he was a neutral type so i tryed petting him with shadow for 5 min and he had bent spikes so i pet him back wit sonic gave him a dark fruit and he evolved into a neutral running type his stats for running and stamina 9-running 5-stamina

Well I used a two-tone chao (or a coloured I forgot sadly) but when it evolved it was green. While hanging with him with sonic, He became blue,but it still has green belly, spots on back legs, and the spikes has a bit green, I was on pc.

Note: This only occurs in the HD ports Steam, Xbla, Psn. In the Gamecube and Dreamcast versions the fruit in the Hero garden do not give this percentage increase when it pertains to the fruit from what I can recall. Also making the Chao love your characters isn't required to make a Sonic Chao, you just have to ensure Run is the dominant stat in terms of levels and that the Chao remains Neutral. To give credit to PokeMaster going through the effort is a sign of Good Chao raising practice. As for when the time comes and your Chao passes on, if it loves you it will reincarnate. So overall its best to give your chao as much love as possible, but when it pertains to making a Sonic Chao its not required. Just make sure the highest level stat is run and that the Chao remains neutral. I.E its emote ball being either green or yellow. Once it evolves once to a Neutral run. Continue feeding it green Chaos drives, at this point you can use any characters of any morality once it evolves once into a Neutral run, you suddenly can't make it a Hero or Dark it will stay Neutral until its next life.

ArcadeTH I think he’s doing it with drives so the Chao doesn’t get animal parts. But I agree with you. The cheetah is the best animal for leveling up running. And once you’re done leveling it up, just use Skeleton Dogs to take away the animal parts.

The way to fix this is to just give it skeleton dogs, so it will get rid of them. :)
