It’s kinda funny how Jokers fear in Arkham Knight was to be forgotten yet here there’s multiple exhibits that remember what Joker did in the Arkham games so guess his fear didn’t come true lol
This game is actually fake, all the playthroughs and content of this that you see on CZcams were posted by a multiverse traveler who found a universe so shitty that they made this game. So this game isn't even in the Arkham verse.
To be fair it is said at 00:56 that Bruce had no involvement in making the museum. It's all Ryder looking for clout.

Arkham is so damn boring
There's a strange irony in how the game presents this museum as Jack Ryder cynically cashing in on the events of the Arkham series and yet that's basically all the actual game is doing by including all these references. I mean, there's no reason for this to have been a continuation of the Arkham setting beyond marketing, and I have to believe it was a decision made by WB executives rather than anyone who cared.

As a matter of fact, I have to believe the whole game was practically developed by WB executives. There's no way most of the choices made in this game were actually made by Rocksteady. More likely that Rocksteady was being paid to make the game the executives wanted
@@mrsoisauce9017 Rocksteady did want to make this game in the sense that they wanted to make a suicide squad game set in the Arkham verse. The overall story and gameplay and live service seems like something WB forced them into.

I personally think the rest of DC doesn't fit well into the Arkhamverse for me (despite subtle mentions of other places like Metropolis). Worked better as a standalone in my opinion

The best thing that this game did was bring attention back to the original Arkham trilogy.
I don't mind the delivery, I'm sure the voice actor tried his best & he definitely had big shoes to fill. But the lines themselves are pretty lame. Where's the underlying sociopathic menace? I'm just glad they didn't reference any memes or social media, but that "problematic" line came close...
I agree with you. The writing sours the whole game, really. If the writing was on par with the rest of the arkham games, I'm willing to bet people would be willing to forgive the games faults and live service garbage.

They literally passed up a chance at a Justice League game for this...
Imagine if instead of sitting on their hands for 9 years they released 3 Arkham verse justice league games with individual dedicated stories for Superman, Flash, and Green Lantern. Then they made Suicide Squad and had us kill all these heroes we've been playing as for the last decade.

It just feels like they jumped from a decent ending to Batman's story to "Ok he's alive and now he's a member of the justice league now too. Also Brainiac's here, Kill them all." Speaking of endings, fuuuuuck that crap with killing Batman. ain't no way they seriously made him go out like that...
@@Maclues would not have worked. All of those characters have powers that would make for gameplay that just wouldn't be fun because they're way more powerful than most of the enemies they fight. WW could get away with a game, but only if she's fighting other Amazons who level her in terms of power

@@Maclues no, that much was proven. Do you know how much you'd have to slow down the in game speed to get access to the full speed of the flash? And did you see the N64 Superman game? How utterly unbalanced that character is compared to the people he usually fights that they had to implement a city health bar rather than a personal health bar? And don't try to pretend you can do better than that: Superman's whole gimmick is that he is literally almost indestructible. Giving him a health bar against the common criminal would be extremely silly for obvious reasons. Green Lantern could be done, but again, you'd have to put him up against other lanterns who match him in power, and at that, I have no clue at all how the gameplay would work for a character who can create any object with his mind

What’s interesting is that this Joker 2 would say he liked the old Deadshot. It feels like RS puts a lot of inner thoughts into the character dialogue. For example, an Argus soldier will say: "You killed Superman, so who will protect us the next time aliens invade?"

This entire game was downright disrespectful to the entire Arkham franchise. I find it incredibly depressing how all the original rocksteady workers are gone and the company is just a shell of its former self now.
No, the Suicide Squad are just being themselves, and they're villains, so you can't look at them from heros perspective. The Batman Museum and Hall of Justice are great and a great introduction to Arkhamverses history. It's not as exaggerated as you said.

These lines are such a problem. I shouldn't be physically cringing when I hear these lines. The actor isn't the problem, the actual dialogue is. It's not that easy to write lines for Joker but they utterly failed.

We really need more details about Bruce feeling comfortable enough to return to public life, something more than just Clark asked him too. There had to be something significant to make Bruce feel that his loved ones would be safe enough after five years of playing Demon Bat
I mean which loved ones that people know about weren’t safe? I mean, Nightwing was far away in Bludhaven, Jason was red hood, and I’m sure those too can take care of themselves, and aside from Dick, there’s nothing that links Jason to Bruce. Catwoman is always on the move, and has never been seen with Bruce either. My only concern is Barb, I always thought she’d move away but since Tim is around, who knows?
