Oswald the Lucky Rabbit in: Race Riot (1929)

In Race Riot (1929,) Oswald is trying to prepare his horse for the upcoming race, but the horse doesn´t want to, so he convinces it to do some sports. Of course it escalates a bit.

Fun Facts: Race Riot (1929) is the earliest Oswald cartoon by Walter Lantz (who took over the series from Mintz. This is the oldest Oswald cartoon where the sound used in the film exists (all of the Mintz cartoons, has a lost soundtrack). The sound was recorded using Western Electric (an early sound on film system). As one of the first Lantz cartoons, these cartoons focus on story more than music, unlike the post 1930 cartoons.
