My folks got a 65 inch Samsung TV with one of those curved screens and CZcams TV. They never want to see cable TV again. So the other night they wanted to watch something that put the TV to the test and I took over and put on Short Bud Diaries episode 1 and it blew them away, they watched the whole series start to finish. ❤️✌🏻

Great series, perfect balance of fishing, people & adventure without being "too sundance" like so many other fly fishing videos but really suprised you didn't do better in craig.
we stumbled into ennis on our honeymoon beginning of sept. our friend has some property near virginia city. cant wait to get back. had a rod with me but didnt fish terribly hard. did manage to have some moose in our camp. and it went from 85 degrees to 20 degrees when a system moved in. ended up staying at el western for a couple nights. ennis will be a yearly thing for us now.

The Madison, Gallatin, and Jefferson are amazing fishing. If you ever come up to north west Montana I recommend the North Fork and South Fork. Then fish down the Flathead River to Flathead Lake.
Totally enjoyed the series from beginning to the end ... okay not the ending ! You were having too much fun (even though I know it was not all fun and games), too much great food, too much beautiful scenery ... but would have loved to seen more beautiful fish ! Thank you for all of the time and expense you put into this production.
The destination isn’t as nearly as important as the journey! Just keep finding the magic and allow us to follow along!
Y'all gotta make a short bus diaries of Alaska. You could fly fish for Grayling, Char, dollys, big bows, salmon, white fish, pike and steel head. U guys would have so much fun. I live in Alaska so im a reliable source.

I am a New Yorker whose been making an annual fly fishing trip to Montana (primarily the Yellowstone area) for most of the last 25 years and your videos brought back memories of many of my own experiences (including on the Missouri). Would sure like to join you guys, and not just based on the great meals you seem to have. If you are looking for future locations, try the Aspen Colorado area or the Durango Colorado/San Juan River NM area. Wish I were younger and could join you guys - or find my own group of similar guys to trout bum with me. Keep up the good work and obvious friendship.

What an amazing series guys! looked forward to every episode. a couple of future suggestions: Green river in Utah has some HUGE browns and then the Gunnison area of Colorado, The Taylor river, East river and Gunnison rivers are all amazing fishing. Epic series gentlemen! Best on YT and hope to see you on some waters next season although the season is never really over. A epic trip from the Bighorns in Wyoming to Casper and over to Cody would be a great time. You could hit the famous reef, Green River and the South Fork of the Shoshone....maybe see some Grizzlies too.

Prob not film worthy but central/ western ma with its historic millers, swift, and deerfield. Good camp sites along each. Some good float areas as well as excellent wade fishing. Stockers, naturals, as well as timid fish.
I agree with all the comments for big brook trout, but might as well keep going through Maine and head up to Newfoundland and Labrador!

Really enjoyed following you throughout Montana.......wife and I have made several visits to MT to fish Rock Creek, Clarks Fork and the Black Foot.........really enjoyed our trips. You may want to consider your next adventure in NM, CO or further west into Oregon and Washington.......great waters in all of those states.......Tight Lines and keep up the great work !
