Definitely think David's book is a must, that shall be the next investment. I'm very new to having a pond. Made a good few mistakes. If I have a pond 2ft deep and 5ft width to 6ft length. How many bags of aquatic soil from your website do you think it would take to have a good enough level to be good for plant roots. I dont wanna purchase any plants before I can care for them. That would be selfish. Sorry to be a pest I just want my daughter to experience the joys of having a pond.

Hi, please send questions via website Contact page as we don't monitor youtube frequently. use pond baskets, don't use loose soil in pond. Check info on website and buy the book!😁😁

"Buy in small groups" - why?

Hi Dave, because all plants look better planted in groups, moreover some are slender and look less impressive singly, such as Butomus and Scirpus zebrinus, both of which look better when planted in groups close together. Time has the same effect of course, it depends how long you want to wait for a solid effect.
