She needs a solar fan. I don't think she has electricity installed yet. Hopefully, she can make more improvements, when she has more money and help with the more difficult projects such as installing electricity and building a separate kitchen with a tall brick stove. She just needs a door lock and some type of shutter for those opened windows spaces for now. Of course, making some wood furniture would be a good pastime, when she's not working.

Their culture is very different from the western world. And that is ok. I'm sure she sees videos. But she is a poor young mother financially. It will take her time to build up her home and resources. Some people also prefer a simpler lifestyle. We should not pressure her to try to conform to our standards. She has eyes and can see other things she might want, but when you are poor and raising a child by yourself, the biggest concern is often feeding herself and the baby. No need to put added pressure on her. I worked and raised two kids alone on a meager income and we literally counted all coins we could find around the house at times here in the US to buy milk or bread. She's doing a great job with what she has!!
