I really love how they constantly rip on each other throughout the entire process, but when it comes to actually tasting the final product, they're complimentary, give great feedback, and are supportive of one another's food. Simplest way to clean out a grinder attachment between batches is to push thru a slice of stale bread. This is an old trick I learned from my great grandma.

Add on tip from my dad : make sure it’s white bread you use. Anything with seeds may mess up the grinder
My mom uses crackers. Same principal. Cleans out all the meat bits.
Just use some already ground meat. Now you can clean your grinder and use all of the meat and have no bread in it. If you wanna do meatloaf just do whatever.

For what it's worth, I know a lot of people really don't care for reaction videos (myself included). Much prefer proper food content
Connor Jones when I say a react video I mean picking an old video and redoing the recipe. Basically showing clips of the old video showing where it either went wrong or they've learned since then or just flat out make fun of themselves (like Mike's hair, baby Ben, beardless Jaime, and Barry just being goofy) while also improving the recipe
dang this is actually hard. and it would depends on moods. Mike's burger is the most balanced to me. crunch, lettuce, cheesy. Jamie's super filthy, something I'd take on dinner and beer. Barry's simple and subtle, and I really like sweet caramelized onion on everything.
Verdict:
Barry's for breakfast
Mike's for lunch
Jamie's for dinner
A perfect way to describe a lot of their challenges where I actually like all of the meals. Needs the right time and place--and budget.

I’m a new watcher and I’m binge watching; I loving seeing how everything has changed over the years, especially how the dynamic between everyone has changed from before James was a main chef and after he became a main chef.
I've recently started adding finely grated sharp cheddar and finely chopped cooked bacon to my burger patties. My family loved this and much preefers this to my original recipe for burgers.

I've been watching you guys for years now and tonight you inspired me to level up my dinner.
I made a pork chorizo and apple burger, and brushed both sides of the bun with garlic butter and seared that in the pan to toast it.
To go on top I made a quick fresh tomato salsa and also made mayonnaise from scratch for the very first time - and spiked it with chilli sauce of course 😉
Don't want to toot my own horn but it was definitely the best burger I've ever had. Thanks for all the tips and tricks I've picked up from your videos over the years 😁

Re watching this after years I love how Mike act when Izzy has hiccups. When filming and delay that you cause can make you feel so bad but Mike makes it light hearted while also explaining to us in a funny way. Shows he’s a really nice guy tbh and how much of a family feeling channel sorted is.

A little tip when using a meat grinder and you want to switch to a different meat, just toss a piece of bread in to “purge” the last bit of meat left inside the machine.
This is my first time watching one of your videos, and I must say it was superb. Those twats at Buzzfeed could learn so much from you on how to do it right.
Stephen Macuch the thing about buzzfeed/tasty is that the people there arent friends(atleast everyone) they are colleagues. here sortedfood they are best friends so its more about friendship, humor and food.
Well they definitely are now. It seems Buzzfeed has stolen their idea of making dishes three ways. I thought they had stopped that nonsense of stealing content from others and not giving credit, but it seems I was wrong.

I used to watch it quite a but but then the try guys left so I just subscribed to them and unsubscribed to buzzfeed because I realised they were the only people there who gave me the feeling I get watching sortedfood and other great CZcams channels. They're a content farm and thieves stealing people's recipes and show formats and do the same boring shit over and over again without trying to create or improve their content. How many Americans eat British food can one channel make?

as much as i loved this ep as well i did enjoy the prev burger challenge. the comments james read were kinda funny but also a tad mean. i love that they can get so creative on this channel! so not everything works but they had fun and they tried🤷🏻♀️

A trick I used to use when I ground my own meat.
Run cubed bread thru the grinder between jobs if you plan multiple jobs in a row. It will force previous meats thru.
Oh look a brioche bun... I've never seen that done before and definitely no one's tired of that by now

Wellington, New Zealand - where I live. Is currently having its yearly “Wellington on A Plate” competition. Whole bunch of restaurants make a burger and a meal and you go round to different places and eat them for two weeks. Then someone is the winner at the end . I can’t help thinking how much the Sorted guys would love it. It would make such a fun episode for them. (Like their game changers) But alas, New Zealand is too far away :)

Except we eat steak burgers all the time. Sirloin is good, but it's not like it's a ribeye. It's actually probably the best cut to use for a steak burger as long as you have plenty of fat.
