I’m full pen down 400b gave up on enhance and just bought my last pen disto and pen bs sub weapon XD. This is great news for you guys now your silver won’t 100% go to waste. They need to lower the numbers a bit 40 fails for guaranteed pen bs is way too much, that’s 2x above average. Best change pa has ever made :)

It's a good system. But its a system which should have been in the game for years already. In fact if it had been in back then BDO would probably be a much bigger game now.
The pity system honestly gives new sense of progression for people who want to enchant gear and have their own name. Before it was all money and work lost if u failed, now you actually can see that you are getting closer no matter what. For example my PEN BS mainhand took 98 attempts to go through. So yeah. Thats 2 Successful PEN BS with this new system.

So you could just buy 10 J's Hammer of Precision, a TET Debo, and then click it to PEN costing like 430mil (?) 130 ish mil more then you buy it for. May as well do it that way.
Well that is worst case and I am pretty sure we will see more sitting on market now that there is a pity system. Guess we will need to wait and see. But also you have to consider the tet fails and tri fails too, so 1 pen attempt means you need 20 tets to fail.

PA are 8 years too late to add pity enhancement system that is subpar to save bdo community who were already broken by BDO's terrible enhancement system. But still better than nothing, I guess.
I don't think that really it was always there choice to buy from cm I start playing bdo 4 years ago and i didn't enhance anything except my fallen god shoes and gloves and rest of my gear I bought it and I 745 gs

Glad to see the pity system but where is the open world PVP at? Have they completely killed it in BDO? What's the point of grinding for gear anymore and even playing BDO these days since there is no PVP incentives?
I got 2 dreams manually (without the free ones) both at 5 and 7 taps and my head got so huge with success until I tried my 3rd and waisted billions failling 52 times.
This is just a bandaid to make this insane upgrade system more palatable. All they have to do is remove the downgrade penalty for failed enhancements. The loss of your upgrade materials is punishment enough.
Two things: I might be wrong in thinking this but, I don’t think the Pen pity tap affects most players. The other thing is, would we want this for T10 horses?

The entire BDO upgrade system is a joke and needs to be revamped big time. I wonder how many players have walked away from BDO because of their frustrations with the gear enhancement system.

Because Fallen God level items have a pity stack of 1000 to get to PEN...and they'll be releasing Fallen God-level weapons soon. That's A LOT of cron to waste on all that gear.
yeah it would have been better, at least it would have cost only 1.5 times the price of the item on the market. If you hit pity with 40 and used cron every time, it would have cost you 3-4 times the market price.

So a rich gamer, can easily buy crons to his requirement to get his desired enhancement. Im not against this system. Some people have terrible rng and they need some way to enhance successfully. But game is definitely more p2w now 😅
You're aware that right now you can fail your ass more than 100 times and get nothing, right? But with it you'll get 2 PEN Manos and be half way to the 3rd one even if you're the unluckiest person on the server..

It makes whaling a lot easier. Probably means less outfits on the market because the whales can just cron themselves to success

More bad karma changes makes the system overly punishing. I feel like the whole karma system needs a rework.

It doesn't because most people should fall into the average in the 20s... the pity really only affects outliers with really bad rng
