    Hi Jenny! Thankyou you so much for your video. Truly helpful since i planned to apply in UPenn. I am from Indonesia and a bit anxious (also excited) to study abroad. I got scholarship from my country but i guess i am a bit clueless about the curriculum (how difficult the system/bureaucracy) or social situations there (since i could only rely on scholarship allowance i am afraid that i couldnt follow most of social occassions there. or you might have a more balance strategy to stay updated with these certain situations? Could you shares these stories about certain (basic) things that we should be aware of as international student especially as asians heheh. Thankyou you so much!!

    I was exactly like you before I started college but then Economics (my degree) is not something I personally chose as a major, it was my alternate major (my proposed is History, but surprisingly both majors are not impacted in my school) I just chose it due to job opportunities. Definitely kicked me in the butt hard, but college was still fun nonetheless. ♥

    hey! i rlly liked the chill personal video. im a fgli as well and im still concerned about the rich snotty attitudes, i was relieved when you said it was a stigma but then you said "except wharton" (thats the school i plan on joining) can you further elaborate on that?

    Can you make real friends who love you in upenn or is like everyone a snake and consumed by pre profesional cutthroat culture? It's something I'm looking for in a college.

      Hi! I think there's definitely a wide range of personalities and people here at penn; it definitely depends on who you surround yourself with! I have personally met such wonderful, supportive friends here who I will treasure forever. I strongly believe not everyone here is a snake and people want the best for each other. Nonetheless, I would say that there are a select few here and there and the pre-professional culture does exist. Whenever I would talk to upperclassmen about what they've enjoyed the most at Penn, I would consistently hear the same answer: the people I've met. Hopefully, that answers your question! Let me know if you have any more!

      @@zhanggjenny de nada! I also forgot one question, are people who are competitive/snakes more likely to be rich/upper class students or are people from higher socio economic status genuine/can be made friends with?

    • @zhanggjenny
      @zhanggjenny  Před 8 měsíci

      @@harisfareed4599 I would say it’s a mix because it’s all based on backgrounds and personalities. I wouldn’t generalize it at all.

    You don't need to go UPenn for Nursing that will cost your money.
