could you help me find the energy difference between Titanium-48's ground state? I thought by watching this video it would help but I need a little more help.
Titanium-48 has a quantum number of 2, 2(l)+1= ESR Lines, or splits. So it will have 5 (permitted/allowed) ESR lines or splits, +/- 2, +/- 1,0. It also has a magnetic moment of 2.82(2 unpaired electrons), don't know if that makes a difference.
I want to know the energy per split and I don't know how to solve for that so that I can solve for energy difference between specific splits.
Also, I want to know how long will it take to de-excite from said specific split back down, I saw that it would take 10 million years for hydrogen to de-excite on Wikipedia due to its low transition rate of 2.9×10−15 s−1 which I assume is because its an s-s transition which makes it forbidden.
If you could help me out in any way it would be more than just greatly appreciated.
