The new growth starts in March - April every year for me ( South Florida) about the same time I see spikes forming. It blooms on a year old pseudo bulbs mostly.Fertilizing this time of the year helps for good growth. The growth this year will likely bloom next year. Thank you for your comments.
Thank you. They do get 4-5 hrs of morning sun. Mid afternoon sun is very intense in South Florida so, I try to avoid it. Regular watering and fertilizer helps. The healthy the plant, the more flower spikes and flowers.
What are the winter care instructions.temperature in night time and daytime.should I give it dry winter rest like den nobile .how much sunlight does it need in winter Also does it need humidity in winter around it.
