    For you guys who want to know, you can charge other batteries and with different mAh as well. I have two energizer batteries with 2500mAh charging, and 1 Duracell charging with a 2000mAh.

    When you say the batteries have gone bad, do you mean they need charging or discarded completely?

    If the charger lights start flashing dose that mean its time to replace the charger itself?

    Mine still charges, even though the blue indicator lights no longer works... is there any way to fix this?

    Matthew, have you ever tried to charge non-energizer batteries? Im thinking about getting this to charge my 2400 mah Turnigy NiMh AA's for all my RC transmitters.

      @surberboy  Před 9 lety

      I never tried other batteries. In theory they should charge with the device since they are the same composition (NiMH). If the batteries are not compatible, the battery symbol with the X will light up.

    I've got the NZ version it's the same thing just with Australian 3 prong pins for the wall socket. The only issue I have with this is that the top part of the charger covers the on/off switch on the wall. So you have to turn the wall socket on then plug it in.

      I always liked that feature of the wall sockets from other countries.
      Here in the US the outlets are live all the time as we have no switch.

    I have the same charger which I bought yesterday. Last night it was charging my energizer batteries without any problems. Today, I bought another energizer pair with higher capacity, I put them in and the screen will not display anything. I replaced them with the other pair...same thing, I even bought AAA and nothing will display on the charger. Two hrs later, it worked properly. Today, no display. Did my charger go crazy on me? Can you help me?

      Hi Tarek, mine does the same thing. Although I no longer have the Energizer charger, I now have the Rayovac PS332 and it does the same thing, especially with AAA batteries. Sometimes I have to keep them in for hours before it will detect and start charging them. It does the blank display also before finally switching to the charging status an hour or two later.

    My charger says the AAA batteries are bad every time that I put them in. So, I got around that by putting in one AA and one AAA into each side. After it charges, I change them back to the correct side and recharge and it works fine.

      @surberboy  Před 7 lety

      My new Rayovac is also finicky about charging AAAs. If I leave them in the charger for a few hours, they will finally start to charge. This is even after the X symbol is lit up.

    Pull the plastic tab top of batteries. The batteries are not ready to go out of the box. I was seriously wondering why it wasn't charging, lol.

    You should've also shown it trying to charge AAA batteries--you'd've seen that it doesn't work as expected. It shows all AAA batteries inserted as bad batteries.

      +Dena Schneider I didn't have any AAA batteries at the time to try. I did put some in it a few days ago and it took a good 10 minutes for it to detect and start charging them.
