I would probably have starved to death in that room with all the old circuit boards and computer stuff...... In reality, most of it is worthless, but to a geek like me, it's just endless fun and memories to look through. I'd happily collect some of those things.
Very interesting explore. Looks like the place was in the process of being shut down, things were partially packed then the process was stopped and things were left as is and where they were. I know a lot in there is dated but there's a lot that could still be used. I love pens; I wonder if the ink in some of the pens hasn't dried up and they can still be used! I live in a college town and students are moving in even now for the fall semester. Those green stackable storage containers and baskets would be very popular around here: great for stacking/storing belongings and the bigger ones would be great for carrying laundry!
Gr8 vid, love it. Spookly! Such a wasteland of interesting stuffs. I like pens too! But the old apple macs are increasingly gaining value. A gold mine indeed.
Looks like the copper thieves ravaged those old generators... Too bad. Those things look old as hell, they probably still worked until they were ripped apart.
I'm also kind of surprised at how much copper wire they left behind on those machines, too. Probably still hundreds of dollars worth left just in the little bit that they left behind.
That MAC is worth £1,000's!! one of the rarest computers on the plant and even more if its a German type as they didnt make many. The place is a gold-mine :)
If you are going to climb around and down old metal, which could have sharp rusted edges, I suggest you bring gloves to each exploration for safety.....
just about had an old tech orgie... but how could that have been abandoned in 14 when everything in there was 90s or older? unless the office staff all had the old tech hoarding mentality.
Wow I woulda taken that old mac & a bunch of other stuff too
Casio solar calculator at 8:40. Your spotlight powered it up.

Did you manage to find out when it was abandoned? Given the phones etc I'd say the 90s???

go to waste

slow down a little
With all the abandoned tech stuff in there - ya sure it's been abandoned since '14?
I'd say more like '94!
