One of the best designer deep dives yet! My pair shipped from RW this morning. Looking forward to getting them on my feet.

This what I like and hoping from Adidas, bring that tech from the top line shoes to everyday shoes.

I want to see what Adidas will do to improve the SolarGlide and SolarBoost lines to keep ahead (?) Of the SuperNova line that is a cheaper running shoes.

One of the first Peba base daily trainers. The Topo Cyclone 2 has been out for almost a year now, Mr. running shoe expert!

To be fair, the topo Cyclone 2 is a much sleeker and faster feeling performance trainer. It can be used for some daily training but in my opinion, it's not your true reliable every day trainer that most people can use for lots of miles. But yes, I was a little careful with my wording to say "one of the first" 😂😂 Thanks for keeping me on my toes! -Connor

@runningwarehouse Thank you for responding. I agree and disagree, and I apologize if I came across as being snarky. Technically, you're right. It could be the first "Peba base" where the Topo Cyclone 2 midsole is 100% Peba. That's a big distinction. The daily trainer vs performance trainer debate is a bit subjective where the lines can be a little blurred and not so clear cut. For me, sometimes less is better, and that's where the Topo Cyclone 2 shines for me like white on rice. I probably don't qualify as being most people because I make up a very small minority of runners who forefoot strike at any pace even when I walk. I also have very flexible feet, so I take to the Cyclone 2 naturalness feel on the feet very well. Combining this with Topo's beautiful soft upper and wide toebox makes it very hard for me not to feel good running in these at any pace, including long miles. Matterafact, I agree with David from Doctors Of Running when he says The Topo Cyclone 2 and the Adidas Boston 12 are his 2 most versatile shoes of 2023. I have the Adidas Boston 12, too, and probably for me, a better value than the Supernova Rise would be because it can be used as a daily trainer and everything else. I got mine at half price, so perhaps I'm a little biased.

Hopefully the plastic forefoot border on the upper doesn't cut in on the medial side like on the Boston. That really ruined that shoe for me. This new one sounds awesome. Will it come in a wide like the Boston? Don't say it's a shoe for everybody when you don't make a 15 W. ;) Big people need PEBA too lol

Looking at the outside there - again, Adidas overdone it... As a result, it has to be on the heavier side again compared to competitors. No weight was mentioned, by the way.

You are probably not the targeted customer. Not everyone has free time like you to run 30 km per week.
