Thank you for so much love on my previous video about Finland in the summer time 💙 It was overwhelming to read all these amazing comments and little bits of wisdom that you shared.
This time, I went to Finland for three weeks at the start of this year, in the heart of winter. I know it’s April now, but actually the snow is still on the ground in Finland, so it is still winter there even though many places have moved on to Spring :) I spent two weeks in Tampere, in the home of David and his family, experiencing everyday winter life. We also spent a wonderful five days in otherworldly Ylläs where I learned to ski. I am excited to share the beauty I saw with you.

PS: It seems I will be travelling quite a lot over the coming summer to many different places, so I hope to see you back when I make more videos showing unique wonders of the world :)

Wow! This place is in stark contrast to the summers here in Texas 🥵 machines that blow warm air onto your clothes rather than clothes that retain ice water to keep you cool lol. But yes, skiing is the best! I love it so much and hope to go again soon!

@@melanybrita yeah we have “ice cooling” clothing like shirts and gaiters. “Ice cooling” cuz you soak them in cold water and they keep you cool outside in the summer. There isn’t any actual ice in the clothing.
I’ve only skied here in the US in Colorado. There’s quite a few ski resorts to choose from!
