Hands up if you grew up in the eighties watching the TwilightZone! Don't leave me hanging lol! Plz don't leave me hanging!! I was not aware the twilightzone had revamped itself with fucking superstar actors!! I missed out on a lot!!!! Thank you for upload!!
Forrest Whitaker's take on the twilight zone is the blueprint for Peele's version therein.
The Eighties Twilight Zone had some awesome Episodes, high point being Nightcrawlers, it's the Zone up and down shows in every era, this character got target fixated
Superstar?
Did you start with the 80's or the 50's
Reminds me of the saying, "With great power comes great responsibility."
I agree with you rather than "everything comes with a price." The man was already struck by lightning to get the power.
Spider man, Spider man!
I was TAUGHT that @ HOME...
Quite true..
JLC..
Being able to hear people's thoughts, "read their minds" or whatever term you'd like to use for it would definitely be a horrifically double edged sword. The ugliness that they try to keep concealed from everyone would be exposed to you.
Paul Christman what women want. ever seen that movie?
Yes and this would be a great thing if you were a Psychiatrist, don't you think?
I don't think so. It would be liberation from bullshit and lies.
@@notgivennotgiven7776 yeah ,classic movie .
Sometimes random thoughts just go crazy in my mind + I can't stop them
He tripped out!
Be careful what you wish for?????
NO NO NO! Use it wisely is the key!!
Telephone linemen that mistake powerlines for phone lines are bound to get electrocuted.
Ivan the Misunderstood true. but he was hit by lightning.
@@notgivennotgiven7776 true. but he might as well have been a plumber injured in a freak accident while performing a colonoscopy in a zoo.
That line pole must have been atleast 80-120 miles up when he got hit.
They aren’t linemen, they are just telecom techs.
interesting, how a beautiful gift becomes a curse...
Thanks for posting all these shows.
Brandon Ramirez. Yes, thank you. I can't believe how many of this Twilight Zone's episodes I have not seen. I've seen episodes of the b&w original Twilight Zone several times.
🙌Yes🙌
1st episode to watch on this channel.
Time 7:17PM Fri 8/27/21
Had not seen this generation of the Twilight Zone. Thx for posting.
Jeremy Piven with glasses on looks exactly like the "Can you hear me now?" Verizon Guy lol. 😂😂😂
They are both Jewish.
Now the Sprint guy
He should be bald he is another Hollywood dirtbag that pays for hair transplants... funny as fuc☆
I had no idea he was this talented. Jeremy Piven is so underrated.
If he'd just chilled out and been cool about everything his life would have turned out great, lots of money, the girl and his best mate, he just got too emotional. LIke real life, funnily enough the less emotional you are about things and the less you care, the better things turn out. If you care too much you just ruin everything. It's weird but sooo true about life.
Damn fool. A emotionless person is nothing but a damn machine. People's like you need to leave the earth.
Well, I think "The One" may be a bit extreme, but that puts you on the scale in the opposite extreme.
There is nothing wrong with emotions, as long as they are expressed in a healthy manner. But I think you were referring to a calm cool demeanor, rather than lack of emotion?
Nonchalant is a light way to put it. I get what you saying buddy
As a person with life experience and not a expressive opinion, factual words than ever spoken. Especially as a man don't be too emotional, never care too much and your life shall be better than most.
I don't agree that the less you care the better things turn out...lol God gave us emotions
Jeremy Piven had always been one of my favorite actors. He portrays superbly a man overcompensating for his insecurities. His physical diminutiveness helps as well.
The early 2000's reboot sure was alot better than the recent incarnation, the 80s version had a lot of great episodes as well.
Loved this episode - many thanks. The main character is superbly-acted , and the transition he undergoes is fascinating to watch.
LOL, Vegas here we come, if this were me!!
Did anyone notice the Reference EVERGREEN CEMENTERY?? i was like OHH LOOK, its the teens turned into fertilizer
Wary of Extremes Episode 1, by the same name.
yes
yup :)
That's a few bad apples there.
Great episode. The most Twighlight Zone thing here is that Jeremy Piven and Adrian Paul are not the same person.
Jeremy does a fantastic job. I love watching him.
Another great episode. A remake of an old 1960-ish TZ starring Dick York who can read minds because a coin of his landed on its edge.
This is about the remark by S.R. that this episode is, "A remake of an old 1960-ish TZ starring Dick York." Well yes and no. I agree that both T.Z. episodes (the B & W episode) and the color episode called, "The Lineman" concern men who can read minds. But the remark by S.R. is NOTHING MORE THAN AN IGNORANT PUT DOWN. I respectfully submit that the T.Z. episode, The Lineman," is not in any way, "a remake." No, no, no, no, NO, NO, NO, and NO. Fellow reviewer S.R. can do much better than this. What I say is: please, Mister S.R., why don't you post a review of The Lineman that is more compelling, more interesting, more accurate, and more intelligent than characterizing "The Lineman" as being a mere, "remake."
@@tombrody9208 "Nothing more than an ignorant put-down?" That can be more accurately said of your reply than the original post by @S. R. who didn't "put down" either one of the two episodes but merely said they had a theme in common; he/she did mistakenly call it a remake but that hardly justified the rant you posted. I hope you got over it; it's been six months so maybe you've matured a bit.
Dick York, the original husband in Bewitched.
With great power comes great responsibility.
Greater responsibility to bag a load of chicks
chava rosales I'm binge-watching all your episodes u da man for uploading
Gee, I just love Forrest Whitaker-lazy eye and all! 😊
Same
Funniest electrocution I've ever seen, looked like he was riding a mechanical bull lol.
Drugstore cowboying at Gilley's was wimpish compared to electrocution.
It would look weird. Electrocution produces the effect where you are paralyzed to the object shocking you, but it will cause convulsions.
Prepare to enter... The scary door!
If I could read other peoples thoughts, it would save so much time to know who's into you and who's not.
S. R. Right 😊
S. R. Show something
ymarrero23 Lol true... 🤢
You could not bear it for long...
Ikr
Him "im going to buy an island and share it with the one person i care about most".
Her "buddy mist be flattered"
Him "buddy's going to stay here and take care of things"
Her "that sounds like a proposal and im just at the getting to know you stage"
Him "I was talking about me"
THAT would have been epic
But he actually was obsessed with her, so he answered that because of his macho-ego hurt. Hehe.
He had a second chance...
But he had too much of the gift!!!
I'm beyond surprised that Jonathan Frakes directed this! Had no idea he was a part of TZ!!
Welcome to another episode of...Beyond Belief, Fact or Fiction.
@@LORNIE420 "Was this story based on real events?? Uh uh, it never happened."
*FICTION*
Love Jonathan Frakes❤✌.
Wow theese later twilight zones are better than I had imagined. Not as great as the originals... but, Hey what is? Also didn't know Jeremy Piven had any range. Good Upload
Jeremy Piven is drastically underrated.
Did you ever watch the 1998 version of Cupid, on ABC? He was Brilliant on that show....sadly, ABC destroyed it. It ranks on the top 100 TV shows canceled before their time. Always a fan of his works
@@drewstar412 I so agree. Really liked him as Trevor Hale.
Ari Gold is his best character.
Predicted the Tesla
She says you are an incredibly sweet man and then kisses him! (21.21) whenever I hear that line the next thing I hear is I am being dumped!
It's tv and movies an embellished reality as a sociological enchantment. That will never change
Did she say that after seeing your manhood ?
I thought he'd wake up with super speed
Wrong Superhero
Then he must be shock from super lightning
Imagine being in the park during 34:30 and not knowing they were filming a tv show.
😅
I'm sure they sealed off the park with only the extras around.
He reminds me of Kevin James ( King of Queens )
These Twilight Zone videos are great.
Best part, no commercials!
Awe, I thought it would work out at the end. He looked relieved for a millisecond.
THAT WAS A REALLY GOOD EPISODE!!! :-D
...Can you separate truth from fantasy?
To do so, you must break through the web of your experience and open your mind to things..Beyond Belief.
Hosted by Johnathan Frakes
YEEESSSS!!
This is my show!
I loved the series, burned thru it during lockdown 2020
To get the baby from smiling to crying they had to pinch him really hard.
Cool show.....definitely not a Twilight Zone feel, more like the 90s Outer Limits, but still good.
Yes, really enjoy these, thank you!
12:14 Again… if an electromagnetic strike occurs such as cutting all the power it also affects batteries. They can explode normally but will sometimes just stop working. Hence the flashlight inconsistency. As I’ve said I’ve loved this show since it was black and white but those things really bug me lol. Idk why.
🌸Thanks for sharing🌸I hadn't seen this episode b4, I really liked it.🌸
Awesome episode!!! Thank you!!!
This was so kool. Image doing that for a day. Thanks for the video. I like the new TZ.
Being able to read other minds would drive one insane, purely by the constant noise.
My own scone makes enough by itself, THANKYOU.
I was actually laughing at the electrocution scene.
I did too lmao
lol, me too
Yeah. That looked like 80's Clash of the Titans bad.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
" Scanners"....(1981)
Just love Jeremy Piven - thanks for uploading. Looking forward to seeing the rest.
Great show.
With great power comes great responsibility. (If he used his gift the right way.)
And I knew I recognized Buddy. He's Radames from Juice.
thelovliestbrown I remember the classic scene with Tupac
Good eye's 👀👍
Waowww
AT LEAST THESE OLDER ONES ARE FREE! I REFUSE TO PAY CBS! RIDICULOUS! I DON'T HAVE A WORKING TV. THE LAPTOP IS ALL I HAVE. HOW DARE THEY CHARGE FOR THE NEWEST TWILIGHT ZONE?
Amusing how he mentioned Donald Trump in this.... all those years ago and no one saw this coming, huh?
Yak T.Ripper You can say that again! I can’t (and don’t) believe it either! Voter suppression and a lot of help from his Russian friends went a very long way to put us in this position...amongst other factors.
I dont understand how no one saw it coming. He's been talking about wanting to become president for decades.
@@tiffanyhouchin6055 " Voter suppression" another excuse, Russia collusion, the black vote is shifting, voters are sick of the swamp on both sides. Hillary stole the nomination from Birnie, so the dems deserve what they got

Great movie thank you for adding it on here
What was fake about this show was how the boss wasn't fired when the guy got struck by lightning.
She is the boss
She is female so .
When he was googling lightning he came across the bit about the almost supernatural lightning that can strike miles from a storm. That is a FACT. Also, she relied on what the weather service said. She was in no way at fault. The mention od strikes miles from a storm brings to mind a kid struck by such a bolt in San Antonio Texas years ago. The storm from which the lighting emanated was at least a dozen miles away and the kids had been cleared to return to the baseball field. It's my understanding that lifeguards now are required to hold people out of the water FAR longer than used to be the case, incidents such as this the reason. An anomaly? Yeah, but it does happen.
She sucked off her boss to avoid it
@@tomswinburn1778 And a fan after a NASCAR race got killed by a lightning strike going to their car. So, Lightning has to be taken very seriously.
He was first in control of his powers but soon his powers controlled him.
He was struck by lightning n be able to be revived, that ‘s a blessing in disguised. Too bad, he misused it n in the end he suffered
With that kind of power and ability, even the most humble person would fail to keep it in check. The ego wouldn’t allow us to keep in check, we’d want more out of it for ourselves.
The head doctor played the Governor on Oz.
Ari GOLD
Olivia d'Abo. She really gets around. She's like the town bicycle. Everyone's had a ride!
Don't worry, you never had a chance with her.
Very Good Episode
Gets hit with a lightning strike, dies. Gets zapped with an electrical medical thingy, comes back to life. Okay.... it doesn’t work that way.
Maybe it does? But I don't think they zap someone with a chain and cross around their neck. If it burned his chest, zapping would burn that cross again wouldn't it? Also the guy can't do drunk at all, made me laugh... this whole thing :)
Ella Mone
If I remember the video correctly, the guy’s heart had stopped. There are medical myth videos you tube. As I understand it, you don’t restart a guy’s heart with a defibrillator. That only works if the heart needs its rhythm restored.
Wouldnt he fall off or was he strapped to the pole?
Twilightzone man.
The metal object would affect the current of the electrical charge. When you are taught to use a defibrillator they tell you to remove/ rip out even nipple piercings. I always remember because my boss got into a fight with a first aid instructor because he thought if he removed a nipple ring from a breast, he would get sued.😂😂😂
7:20 shout out to the fact that he predicted self driving cars.
Thank you
What!!!!! Never be the same as Rod Serling....
In some ways even better than the old episodes. This one was great.
S. R. I like it a lot too. People won't even give these a chance. It's pretty annoying because I thought some were done way better than the originals.
Stir of echoes and dead zone treatment!! 👌🏽💯
If you have that ability,, keep it to yourself 🤫 you be better off
thanks for upload :D
I would use this mind reading to get highet job pay and see what they be thinking at job interviews
Peon mentality
The new episodes are great!!!
Wow lightning really smoked that guy...so did the paddles. I would love to read minds.
Seems to have cured his.myopia, too.
F the rain .... Get up there and fix those electrical poles . Good call boss lady 👍
Jeremy piven and Forrest Whittaker ahhh nothing like the old days

best episode yet but I'm only about 25 minutes in but so far it's the best episode yet.
Reminds me a little of "Wall Street"
Ari Gold in the Twilight Zone😂
I met someone that this exact thing happened to. The effects faded after a couple of years.
So you think…
Directed by Jonathan Frakes! Wow...Star Trek The Next Generation fame! Cool!
Sad ending but it’s the only way it could end really. Actually, I’m surprised at how much I enjoyed this episode. Despite the people who shit all over the new TZ, I genuinely think Rod Serling would like a few of them.
What happened in the end when he was on the hospital bed? Did he basically go insane? Was he really alive?
They could have ended it with him being a powerful tycoon or super villain.
Some are good, some are average and a few are really bad. This one was decent.
I liked when he internet searched the very broad term "lightning" then was annoyed at how many hits it got
Strange that a great actor like Forest Whittaker was the host of a TV show
He directs movies now
This 1 is truely outa this zone, pls.add more TZ
Classic episode
forest really went places :D
That was intense.
My favourite twilight zone episode is the Fortune 🔮 Teller, but this is up there on the list 👍
I really like the music at 21:40!
at first i was taken back by the intro and the lightning scene, but this episode gets intense
Yeah. He get's psychotic so not a happy ending like the original from 1960.
+S. R. is it the same premise or is it inspired by the story?
this double length one was really good - of course most of them in this 2000 era reboot are good.
This guy plays the same type of role in every gig, arrogant, obnoxious, greedy, still to this day same ole same ole..👋
this was a goodie
Professor Xavier with hair ;)
... this was depressing :'( he didn't ask for all that :| such an unfair ending :'(
The company he bankrupted didn't ask for that, either.
@@OneWeirdDude That was Buddy's idea
It would be the worst thing to ever happen to a human being. Imagine knowing what people think about you...some good, some extremely bad, some downright evil. It’d be so scary!
for anyone experiencing the madela effect..who remembers the "if you build it they will come" quote that's from the field of dreams movie...I remember it that way too..even though in reality , now, its "he will come" instead of they will come....anyways for anyone who remembers it the first way like I do....i.e. the mandela effect....well here in this episode at 7:08 or so he says "they" as well when referencing that famous quote...surprised that one slipped through.....
Check out the Berenstein Bears
Violet Johnston Not all misquotes are the Mandela effect. I remember berenstein bears but only because it's a common last name. Same thing here. It's usually misquoted as "They" even in other media. Plus misquotes are a far more likely scenario than being in an alternate universe (occam's razor).
Watchu mean "if you build it they will come" ? Who gone come to a fuckin corn field you know? Who gone cut the grass? I know you don't expect me to sell no peanuts out this bitch.
