I dont have white shoes but i have a pair of bright blue ones.
If they get dirty, wash them with bleach.
As a revert I know this has been and still sometimes is a concern of mine but after I cleaned out my closet of just totally immodest clothing (crop tops, short skirts you name it XD) I felt so good and like I took a huge step forward but the next day I felt so nervous that what I still had (slightly loose jeans, some long sleeves but not a lot of long shirts that went past my waist line) just were not modest enough and I was concerned what other people would think. Between what I could afford and really wanting to know where my cloths were coming from, it just was not possible to buy all the modest cloths I needed all at once. So for anyone that is concerned about this remember, Allah sees the efforts we make and what is in our heart. It’s ok to take small steps forward :). We will get to were we want to be inshallah 💛. If anything I say is not proper please forgive and correct me).

Ugh you don't know how much I needed this. Trying to start wearing hijab and my wardrobe unfortunately does not quite match the modest look I'm trying to uphold. However I really have no idea where to start! This is a huge help, Jazakallah Khairan. 💜

-hijab (black, dusty pink, beige).
-jacket (French, denim, cardigans etc.)

BarakAllahu fik sister for this video. You are right about dresses being underrated. I want to wear them more often because they are so modest but I struggle because not many hijabis (including myself) wear them anymore. Seeing your video really gave me a boost again.

Can you give us tips on hair care please? Btw, I performed pilgrimage at the start of the year and it was inspiring! Everyone had abayas on and my family members got plenty of abayas from there 😅 they're effortless and elegant.

Me too. Wearing leggings under a skirt makes me feel secure. They can also be worn under wide leg pants that are sheer.
I loveeeeeee 💕 maxi dresses with sleeves & my abayas too of course. 🥰👍 So in general love flowy garments that covers the shape of my body completely!

Thank you Sam! I agree that these are must-haves!!! I would also add (silk) spaghetti strap slip/camk dresses to wear under unlined maxi dresses to that the shape of your legs don't show on the sun! And knowing that I'm wearing a silk slip (better if with lace trims) makes me feel extra feminine and confident and silk feels so luxurious against the skin!
Agree. For me, beige and dusty pink are the perfect colours for tan / olive / fair skin tone. I know because I tried many colours before. Patterns as well but I always come back to dusty pink and beige.

Yes. Abaya accessorising video please! And dresses. I’m a UK size 14 and I feel like I look fat in these clothes... so I’d appreciate tips on how to style them and not worry about my big stomach and big bottom looking bigger in them!

I haven’t found this issue with hijabs before, might just be quality of the hijab you’re wearing! But you could wash in the shower! I feel as though hijabs don’t need an intense wash any way

I like to cut my long sleeved tops into a crop top that way when I wear it under clothes it’s not so hot and doesn’t add more layers to my waist.

Where can I buy the body tops from? It's a bit hard for me to find them being sold in retail stores - they're either sheer, have cutouts or are made using synthetic material that makes it hard for me to layer (I live in a hot and humid country, sigh).

I'm not Muslim but I dress modestly you give some great tips.
Here's a tip I learned from my mom as a child: the second you realise your shoe is getting dirty, find some free time. Get some toothpaste and a toothbrush you don't use and scrub the life out of the shoe. Wherever it is dirty, toothpaste and scrub. Most of the time it works for me :)
Also, anyone know where I can get the tops that were first on the list. I have looked everywhere and I can't find them😭😭

"abayas are so classy", please tell that to middle to upper class Egyptian Muslims :) In Egypt, abaya is nearly always classified as the working class outfit, one of the reasons I never wore it despite knowing it can look classy and elegant.

Yes anything modest! If you’re asking about when I mentioned abaya in a video once, I meant the coverage that an abaya allows! Not the abaya itself! Abaya is simply one of many traditional outfits but if there are other pieces that cover your figure, then it doesn’t need to be called an “abaya” for you to be allowed to wear it :)

How do deal with dresses while going up stairs...or hiking uphill? Without needing free hands and tripping on your face. I'm trying imagine hiking with hiking poles and not accidentally trapping the fabric under the pole and being tripped up that way.
