Im a "founder" in Save the world. I've been playing since the Pre-beta. I fell in love with this game before anyone knew shit about it. I got addicted to the game sytems. I grinded, played, made friends, evolved, learnt. At one point we STW players ASKED for a Battle royale mode for we thought it could be good with fortnite game system. oh boy were we wrong. I was thrilled about BR popularity, I still am at some degree, because i was scared such a big project like STW wouldnt get enough money to progress... i thought Br would give epic the money to keep evolving fortnite. But no. STW has changed yes... bus is not the same anymore. we only get the BR scraps and a game mode and quest line every some months. Half of the game is still unfinished and we have no idea if it will be finished. and if it is finished, if it will be good or just a token. I still like to wander around my massive base i built in my Storm Shield (before grinding materials was so fucking easy) and just chat with my friends. Thats what i wanted so much about fortnite. The feeling in the begginig was of discovery, you just came to a world that doesnt belong to you anymore and you have to survive and strive for survival, but the feeling was so hopeful... Now we are stuck. There is no more progress. The story is static. We dont discover anything anymore. We just have... events... that reward us with loot so we come back every month... there is no more world to see... nothing new to find Now we dont matter. I still have hope Epic puts BR succes to improve STW. But just like paragon, i think they will just rush whats left and leave us in the dark. We are not the money maker anymore. we dont matter. Even though we were the ones that believed in this project way before anyone. At least they cant take away what we have already accomplished. the few months of wonderful gameplay we had. They are working man!!! On cannywalley and twinepeaks story with voice ackting. They started 3 months ago and are gonna be finished in a month. Just hang out bro snd we get the new great stuff. And when save the world is gonna be free its gonna rock cuase its gaining popularity then

I'm a person who prefers to play on my Switch than my PS4 (I'm usually on the go) and I'm kinda dissapointed that they never added STW to Switch edition, as it looks pretty fun.
Troll4Days No, at least on PlayStation, you can download Battle Royale only, and not have save the world included in the download. When I originally downloaded the game it was 22-26gb, but after, when I downloaded the Battle Royale version itself, it was only 10-12gb. So yeah, it can download separately. The option to play save the world is still around though.

Devil Darlin' yep. The world is in a mess because the Storm (yes the same that closes the area in the battle royale) is destroying everything. How? Well... it's a Zombie Apocalypse! During the match, with other players as well, you have missions and survivors to save, then place a thing to purify the area... you thought that is so easy right? Nope, because you have to gather materials to create something like a house, you can even build traps and barriers or other things to slow down the enemy, a protection for the purifying thing because will take a bit to work... in the meanwhile the Storm will spawn monsters, all different, faster ones, slower ones but bulkier, ranged ones, you get weapons and you can craft them if I recall right, also you can get friends to play with but obviously you'll get more enemies. Another part is managing a colony where the people you save are, some of them have jobs and can help to improve your city, you can expand it as well. All the characters have different statistics so you have some sort of class system, the melee fighter, the ranged etc. You have lootboxes (talking pinatas... Don't ask) where you get weapons, heroes, upgrades but you can win even without that. Is really nice to play, the problem is that last time was priced 35$, and people prefers spend even the double of that on skins you won't get in any other way instead of getting a fun and original game

dude they do, you cant expect OW's whole plot to be all presented in game through missions. Character interactions, events, comics, animated shorts (which amount up to hours), maps that hint on story and dev's discussions are what show OW's plot. Not the missions. I played OW since release and stopped around last Halloween because the game got too toxic for me and I started playing STW at Christmas. Don't get me wrong, but if you're saying that Fortnite has more lore than OW then you're just wrong. I like the plot of Fortnite, but it can't beat all of the story related events, animated shorts, comics etc of OW.

This is not okay people. Sure, Battle Royale is a fun game mode, but let's not forget that EpicGames put that mode in the system just so they could release Fortnite. People are forgetting the meaning of the title "Fortnite" as well. The very first ads for Fortnite had said that this was a "Save the World" game, not a "Save the World and Battle Royale" game. I stopped playing three days ago because I am waiting for Save the World to come out.

So I didn’t pay much attention to it, until I started playing Fortnite myself. After I was into it, I remembered the ads and saw Save the World. WAIT A MINUTE!
I totally agree. I’m pretty sad that STW isn’t getting much attention. Sure they added the perk recombobulator and the blockbuster thing but overall BR is getting loads of updates while STW gets almost nothing. I get it on epic’s part BRs making loads of money while not many people buy STW but I’m almost happy BRs dying cus I do REALLY ENJOY BR but then that means STW will get a steady stream of new content and BR will get a steady stream of skins and battle passes.

TurtlesSquadHomies 218 Play it more, the game adds more missions types while you proceed. When you reach level 3 you also unlock seasonal events, which add even more depth to the game. Play with friends and when building experiment different stuff and tactics. And, Jesus! Play your own game! That's how you have fun.

dude they do, you cant expect OW's whole plot to be all presented in game through missions. Character interactions, events, comics, animated shorts (which amount up to hours), maps that hint on story and dev's discussions are what show OW's plot. Not the missions. I played OW since release and stopped around last Halloween because the game got too toxic for me and I started playing STW at Christmas. Don't get me wrong, but if you're saying that Fortnite has more lore than OW then you're just wrong. I like the plot of Fortnite, but it can't beat all of the story related events, animated shorts, comics etc of OW.
Years spent for save the world while months spent on Battle Royale, now that's just sad, the devs spent alot of their special time for this one mode and everyone's talking about BR. That's just how Fortnite got its fame..

This is not okay people. Sure, Battle Royale is a fun game mode, but let's not forget that EpicGames put that mode in the system just so they could release Fortnite. People are forgetting the meaning of the title "Fortnite" as well. The very first ads for Fortnite had said that this was a "Save the World" game, not a "Save the World and Battle Royale" game. I stopped playing three days ago because I am waiting for Save the World to come out.

I totally agree. I’m pretty sad that STW isn’t getting much attention. Sure they added the perk recombobulator and the blockbuster thing but overall BR is getting loads of updates while STW gets almost nothing. I get it on epic’s part BRs making loads of money while not many people buy STW but I’m almost happy BRs dying cus I do REALLY ENJOY BR but then that means STW will get a steady stream of new content and BR will get a steady stream of skins and battle passes.
