My mind went blank when I accidentaly came across this song on Spotify yesterday and it felt like a core memory from my youth just came flashing back. I knew the song, felt like meeting a childhood friend again after a full lifetime, I immediately understood I had a deep emotional connection to it and everything came back to me, but before I heard it, I fully forgot about it. Was a really weird experience to be honest.

The first time that song played on the radio, I was just an eighth-grader. Back then, my dad's work often took him away to different cities, leaving my mom to deal with my stubbornness. The most underrated musician ever. I haven't listened to this song in like a decade. My dad bought me this album for my 14th or 15th birthday, he has been gone for almost 6 years now. I dont even remember telling him about Fort Minor but he knew I loved Linkin Park so I think he somehow connected the dots and got it for me. Mike raps, he sings, plays guitar, plays piano, produces, and probably does more than I know. He's a genius. Thanks for everything Mike.
