After visit to R&GN on Aug 14, we went to Little Amerricka and the Whiskey River RR on Aug 15. Alex gave us an up date at the shop and Darrell got us a turn at the throttle on the railroad.

Since Lee became the owner of both the Acorn and the Melody Ranch Daylights, he chose to change the Acorn into a freight locomotive while keep the Gene Autry engine as it was in "Daylight", because of its history at the Melody Rance. My son recently asked Darrell if there would be any chance of them building some matching coaches in Daylight colors to go with her. He said it could be a possibility when they find some time.
awesome video man, I loved the opening segment on 5320. me and some members of my live steam club are very familiar with that engine and it's "history" I even spoke with alex beams over FB and told him the same thing. wow what a mess. but at least 5320 is in better hands and I know alex and the rest of the merrick shop forces will make it better than ever. keep us posted on the progress on it. this is fantastic

What gauge is it? Years ago I rode the R&GN in The Wisconsin Dells.
The gauge at Whiskey River is 16". The gauge at R&GN is 15".
