- 2023 has already been a crazy year of firsts for TravelBattles and today's video is no different! We finally make it to our very first FanExpo Dallas! We meet some of our favorite celebrities and even get a few autographs from some famous voice actors. You did a good job explaining what Fan Expo Dallas is.
Yes, Fan Expo Dallas is a diverse con of fandoms and events for everyone of any fandom. And yes, Fan Expo Dallas is owned and run by the same company that runs Megacon Orlando. Fan Expo HQ. And yes, Fan Expo HQ runs conventions all over the country. Last year, my mom and I went to Fan Expo Dallas. The year before that, I went to Fan Expo Denver. I'm still looking into going to Megacon Orlando next February if I can manage to save up enough money by then.

Darn, no footage of me in my Thor cosplay 😅 Glad yall enjoyed it! Most of those anime voice actors are from Dallas because Funimation, Gearbox and other dubbing studios are in Dallas, whicj is why there were so many MHA and DBZ actors there 😁 Met Chuck Huber at one of the local cons, but I can't remember if I've seen him at Fan Expo.
You will definitely have to say hi at the next FanExpo if you see us!! This was our first FanExpo so it was a bit overwhelming, but we can't wait to go to the next one! Were you the drunk Thor?! We saw one in line while waiting for one of our photo ops. We wanted to catch you but the line you were in was moving much faster than ours! Haha!
1:44 I was there as Captain America and had a solid metal shield. I had it checked and they didn’t have a problem with it.
Ohhh that’s great to know!! Maybe they meant more on the lines of no metal weapons. Everyone’s props looked so amazing!!
@@travelbattlesUm, Captain America’s shield IS in fact a weapon, even though it’s most often used for defense purposes. But still, what were they worried I was gonna do with it, throw it?
Can you bring your own merchandise for them to sign?
Yea of course! There were plenty of people bringing their own merch to have signed, the pricing for the autograph may vary from person to person depending on the shape/size so just make note for that. Many people took funko pops, posters, and other items. We unfortunately just didn’t have anything so it was great they provided their own posters just in case. 😁
Great video! Going for my first time in Dallas this year. How long did it take you to get your photo ops from the line up time until you picked up your print. I have two photo ops that are only 45 minutes apart.
Thank you so much! It’s so much fun, you’ll have a blast! I’m not exactly sure about how long it took since organization was a bit chaotic last year. I did hear that they were pretty good about helping expedite those in line who have another photo op right after another to get them in and out of line quicker. Definitely let the coordinating staff know so they can prioritize your place in line.

Love the video! Just subbed. I has similar experiences with being completely lost. I posted my experiences today. The fan page is full of people blaming our bad experiences on us as customer. Keep up the great content!
