  • RITUAL COMBAT is an invitation to be met in embodied physical confrontation.
It is as ancient as our instincts.
    And wild as fire.
It is the dark of unknown forests.
It is the triumph of Kings.
We come alive in our bodies.
Our spirits dance to ancestral sounds.
This is the moment to be present to fear.
To satisfy the desire to be challenged.
    To be seen in glory.
    We need to know.
    We yearn for that teaching.
    Am I good enough?
    Will I lose control?
    Am I strong enough?
    Am I worthy?
There is only one way to know.
    And the answer lies within.
    Iron sharpens iron.
    Man sharpens man.

This video had me in tears within the first few seconds. This is so extremely powerful and healing to see men, bio and trans, gathering together celebrating and embodying themselves through sacred combat and connecting ritual. These type of rituals are important on the path of healing from our collective ancestral trauma...as displaced people separated from Earth and togetherness. I felt so moved to see this happening and wish I could join! Let me know if you end up opening up a queer + men journey weekend...I could see that being EXTREMELY helpful in building a bridge between LGBTQ+ and het male communities...who have often been pit against one another. A beautiful experience that could be for hearts to heal. I'm non-binary however and deeply respect this as a space for men to have and wow would I love to get to participate in something like this! I found sparring as a child, along with running through forests and climbing trees and playing in creeks to be how my own power emerged from within. Thanks for being here. Deep bow.

Challenging each other makes us stronger and out bond grow deeper. There is no war here. Only ceremony and love.

War is part of men. Violence os part of men. Expressing it in a friendly competition is healthy way to do it.

Just asking from a theological standpoint. Major religions are against LGBTQ+ ideology. And your organizations says, that you want to heal and reconnect people with themselves and God. Where does your organization end up with LGBTQ+? Is it a healing space for LGBTQ+ to step out of their, as religions state, error? Or is it a space where they can act freely?

I’m not certain where you’re coming from with this question in terms of your beliefs on LGBTQ plus however, this video very clearly shows a trans man being embraced by his brothers and loved. I’d like to believe Sacred Sons is 100% a space of safety for all who identify as men. To create a space for men, women, children of all races, gender identities colors, and planets of origin.
As a gay man who attended convergence seven, with another gay man in my cohort, I can absolutely say the space was sacred safe and beautiful, and I’ve had a healing experience with men like I have never had in my life.
It is my true hope that many more men who are gay, find Sacred Sons, and get a true relationship with their divine masculinity, balanced with divine femininity. Ritual combat was one of the most beautiful experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve never felt stronger or more connected to men in my life.

@@barryclifford4768 Thanks to God that you have found a community and strength through those meetings and experiences, but there is a really simple question that I have regarding this whole organization.
I understand that there can be many different people attending such meetings, but the whole point of building a stronger sense of self and growing our masculinity through God eyes, is not to remain in sinful nature, that actually goes against masculinity and God. So the question is: if they say that they are following their masculine personal growth through God. What God they are believing in then?
Im talking from a Christian perspective, and I might be wrong on this, but to be masculine, I think, is to not be gay and actually be in the God vission as he intended us to be, as Adam and Eve.
What do you think about it? What is your experience sacred sons and how is it changing you personally? Im eager to hear your story!
Sorry if my words might hurt you. God bless. 🤍🤍🤍

@@ignassmile in general, I disagree with your assertion that the only union that is acceptable in the eyes of God, and by that I mean, not necessarily the God of Abraham, but the spirit of the universe, a divine loving, all encompassing energy, is solely between a man and a woman.
I have no intention on debating that since we can’t even agree on the very basic premise, and so agreeing to disagree with love is my choice. I hope you get the answers that you need, and believe that for anyone, the sacred songs experience can be one of bonding healing, and positive growth .
