There are 2 things that I am aware of that you could use one is to keep a spare tank of argon gas for your welder in the back room and the other is to expand your shop area with an Addition.
Evening Travis! You & I have the same problem, no space! I had a contractor come out & give me a bid on a new shop, with the shop addition, new roof, siding, gutters it was more than I paid for our house 25 years ago!
I'm guessing the air suspension notch was an afterthought for the owner - what a pity to see all your beautiful metal work get hacked to pieces! Dang, that's got be heartbreaking but, it is all in the game right? Nice job as always expected!
To save the beautiful wheelwells could the C notches been on the inside of the frame? Slots for the axle would be required but have 3/4" radius on the inverted U sheet metal slot flanges. Or would clearance issues developed with the shocks and airbags? Did you save the C notch cut outs?
Gee Whizz, I think the owner has a few to many afterthoughts. Travis has been bust'n his butt on this car and now this redo of the rear-end, it's starting to raise my hackles a bit. Sorry Travis I just had to spout. BTW how's things with the tree problem?
Love the "stasche". Looks good on you. Wow, the four-bar installation was an education. I know you studied this a long time before wading into it. Good Job! What kind of engine is going into this car? I don't care for flatheads. Had to live with them in my youth. They really suck. This is going to be a wonderful show car. What kind of suspension is going on the front end?
@@RACGARAGE Great, Caddy motor is appropriate as is Mustang 2. Why don't you lobby the owner against the silver/gray paint. Everything on the road today is dung colored gray.
Did I miss what kit you’re using? I was going to piece together my own Johnny-joint 4-link from scratch, but this is a nice looking kit. Will you share where it comes from? Thanks.
Wow, it was painful just to watch those wheelwells being cut out and I didn't lift a finger to create them... PS - you're not allowed to say "sitting Indian style" anymore, 15 years ago I was lectured for almost an hour that "nowadays it's called criss-cross apple sauce" (I am NOT making this up). Just trying to save you some frustration when Shep goes to school and you have a PT conference...
"Ta-Da!"
Awesome job as always Travis 👍 best to you and your family!
Thank you!
Nice job.👍
Thank you!

I need an addition bad!

Oh man! Yeah inflation will get ya that way
It's coming along nicely. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God bless.
🙏 same to you my friend!
Looks awesome man , love it.
thanks for sharing your work by going down sweeping the floor to show us your progress. You deserve a bigger garage and a lift. Thx :-D
I do need a bigger garage 😂
You make it look like it was made that way
Thanks, I try!
Looks good .
Thanks!

Yeah it was a little hard to do but like you said it’s all in the game

Very Nice job Travis looks Great
Thanks John
Amazing work!
Thanks!
@@RACGARAGE Thanks for sharing your work!
yep spot on!
Thanks!
Man it's time for this project to go. Hello that perfect work done and now you read doing it all?
Perpendicular is what "that thing" is lol. Love your work
Hahaha yeah I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed 😂
@@RACGARAGE maybe not but youve got great metal working skills !!

my 36 coupe has a 7/16" gap on the bottom of the hood sides.
Nice job! Can you tell me the width of the rear end from backing plate to backing plate. Thank you,
👍🏻🍺
Car looks really good. Has the owner decided on a paint color yet?
He’s going with a silver from last time we talked

What kind of suspension is going on the front end?
It’s getting an early OHV caddy motor and the front end is a mustang 2 style

It’s a generic ridetech triangulated 4 link from like Jegs or Speedway.
@@RACGARAGE Thanks. I didn't know about those Ridetech joints. Looks great. Will be using on my project now.
Is there a benefit of tig over mig when welding in the C notch, I noticed Bellos does his with mig.
All I have is a tig welder so that’s what I use, no real benefit
@@RACGARAGE Cool, Thanks. I just started watching your videos, like your work.
Did I miss something, you’re so careful in your execution. I would have expected a temporary cross member to secure the frame sides remaining square
I didn’t cut the frame until the notches were welded on. Nothing had a chance to mobe

Haha yeah it is what it is, I’m getting paid lol
And yeah I didn’t know it was offensive lol
People have become far to soft. Everything is offensive to weak minds. 👍
You know what a car show you're not getting any credit for any of this?
That’s the name of the game. Unless people watch the channel
Should of watched Bellos Kustoms with his 4 link on a 1936 chevy. Way easier than what you are doing
I am only installing what the customer gives me, I don’t have a plasma to design and make my own brackets as easily as he does.
