- Double trouble S2 e3 with a fellow Weasley - our "little sis" Bonnie Wright. We all first met on a train station platform at Kings Cross station & have kept in touch ever since. We talk about filming, Bons environmental work & even learn some literature from Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Its our longest podcast yet (and thats with trimming 25mins off it already!!!) So enjoy folks.

Goo Galore because if u ain’t read the books are you really a Harry Potter fan? No. Because the books are ALWAYS better than the movies. Also because there are so many parts that the movie cut out that give the characters SO much more personality and depth. You’re really missing out, trust me, I watched the movies first too.

@@mollyiscool5008 probably because as someone who already has seen the movie can predict the whole first book, almost every important aspect of the first book is covered in the movie. I kinda felt like that too because I didn't find anything which has not been covered in movie interesting. But after third book every movie should've been in two parts like deathly hallows. There are so much which has not been covered and I'm kinda sad for that. I'm currently on book five.

Bonnie made the comment that it's been nearly 10 years since the last film. Have you noticed that at the end of the Deathly Hallows 2 it goes to black and says 19 years later, where we find the adult versions of our characters. But interestingly, it's been 19 years since the first film. So...sort of a neat coincidence.

I'm a fan from Guatemala City and seeing Bonnie helping the forest is one of the best things that happened before lockdown. Not many influential people come here and try to help change and the fact that she is so passionate about the environment and that she came here and spoke up about defending our rainforest was unreal.

So, I love Ginny's character in the books. I also think Bonnie did a great job. But I wish the role in the movies had been more significant since she is such an interesting, and like you said "developing" character. There is much more importance to her in the books than in the movies, in my opinion. Nevertheless, great job on behalf of the acting. :)
About the podcast; I love that the three of you talked about filming, the set, auditioning.. I would love to listen to something like that more often!!!

Manci Mester well the problem wasn’t that they focused on her, I think they sacrificed Ron to make herimone more intriguing. I wouldn’t have a problem if they focused on either if they were still portrayed similarly to the book

I am mindblown by how much Bonnie is so active on environmental awareness. She has grown so much since that day at King's Cross station. And I kinda had a little information overload by all the topics discussed but it's like having a tour at Guatemala by how she described her whole experience. Also, the twins are hilaaaaarioussss! There are spur of the moments of their comical jokes on each other. Oliver obviously did all the talking as usual. James listened a lot and also inserted a few jokes here and there. I miss them boooysss!!! ❤️❤️

I love that Bonnie was the only one of the cast to really take advantage of the opportunity to see how a massive film are made. They grew up in this environment and this has got to one of the only times I have heard one the main cast members fully dwell on what they had done behind the scenes and how they were using this chance to see it all and learn.

Bonnie and Emma are both so educated in special subjects ,like Emma is an activists for women’s right and all ,while Bonnie is wildlife activist. I love both of them , I am a big Harry Potter fan!! Happy to see James, Oliver and Bonnie !!!
