What a satisfying video! The music choice, the tempo and your clear explanations were great. My brother lives in Austin and I lived there for one year, so I understand what you're talking about when you say it's hot as hell. Thank you for the videos and best of luck on your furniture flipping business! I know you're going to do fantastic in austin. I'm trying to do it in Wichita Kansas but people don't want to pay more than $50 for anything. Ugh!

Nice! Why didn't you bondo the hardware holes, drill new holes before priming and painting?

I’m not criticizing you, but when using the table saw the large part of the wood after the cut should be between the blade and the fence. Say you have a 3.5 piece of wood and want to trim half an inch off, the fence should be 3 inches away from the blade, not half an inch away from the blade with the off cut being much larger (how you did it in the beginning of the video). Again I’m not criticizing you but doing it your way could cause a kickback launching the wood at a zillion miles an hour into your stomach. Would hate to see that. Anyway great job looks amazing!

It looks so much better!!! Love your decision to tone down the pepper color. Makes it that much more of a classic. I recently painted a pair of particle board side tables and I agree that when you stop trying to make them look like wood, they look so much better! And now I'm considering adding legs to them to keep the base from getting more damaged....🤔

Beautiful piece. Update us with how much you sell it for. Also how do you guys go about the tax part of Facebook? Ever since a few years ago when Facebook started asking if I sold my item and who I sold it to, I knew they were trying to submit my income to the IRS. So whenever I sell locally I just delete the item once it's sold that way they don't track it for tax purposes. But now that I also ship from fb, I can't avoid paying income tax on those sales unfortunately, because I've made over a certain amount

It’s been 40 years but I still recall the lecture I got from my husband ( a master woodworker making museum quality antique reproductions). The big reason they don’t use spin tables it to work “with the grain”. As this is NOT THE WOOD I’d say it’s a good idea but on real wood DON’T do it. You have work with the grain.
