The way you handle Trout, you should fish for Bass, you do not know how to handle Trout, the Fish you dropped into the is DEAD, you have to wet your hands, in order for them to survive !!!

That area is known for macanaw trout imported in the early 1920,s from the great lakes area

First fish was a mountain rainbow trout. When in doubt check the throat.
