edit: just watched it again; just look at that angle. totally an overcrook. definitely NOT a nosegrind.
No... When going frontside it would be easier / more natural- to do the nosegrind like that rather than doing it straight on. unlike a backside overcrook which you actually have to lock into. same goes for suski grinds only being backside and salad grinds really only being frontside.

Literally the next step in the evolution of mid 2000’s handrail skating. Tech has it’s place but nothing will ever beat the raw energy of a dude eating slam after slam just to roll away from the gnarliest handrails nobody had previously thought to try and skate.

The way he is able to bail and run out of some of these attempts without getting super hurt is almost as impressive as the made tricks. There is apparently no limit to what can be done on a handrail, and Cole skates like he has no concept of limits, much in the same way that Jaws skates huge drops. I just hope he can keep himself in one piece if he keeps pushing it like this. That lumpy-ass handrail 50-50 at the end, nosegrind through the triple set, 50-50 up the double kink.... are all tricks that just 8-10 years ago I would never ever imagine anyone doing. You gotta wonder what people will be doing in 2027.....
