DIY Coraline Doll Tutorial | Making a Coraline Doll Mini Me | Before Halloween season comes to a close (although it's always Halloween season around here) I thought it would be fun to close out the spooky season with a fun little DIY. Today I am showing you how to make a Coraline Doll. I've seen these floating around and thought it would be super fun to make.
Coraline is one of my favorite movies (and books) ever and I have recently fallen into a deep hole of all the easter eggs and details embedded throughout the film. I was having my yearly viewing and though it was about time I created a little Coraline doll version of myself.
This is a super fun and simple DIY. I show you how to use polymer clay to sculpt your face, hands, and shoes, create a wire body (so you can position your doll however you like), paint your doll, create hair wefts, and even sew a little outfit.
The best part is that most of these materials are inexpensive and can be purchased at your local craft store. You'll need some oven-drying polymer clay, cheap acrylic paints, 16 gauge wire, aluminum foil, yarn, and scrap fabric.

How long did you bake and at how many degrees? great job!!

I followed the instructions for my clay (Sculpey) which was 30min per ¼ in at 275 degrees 🖤

You can try with air dry clay, I know it has a tendency to crack sometimes but maybe if you give it a shot and try to keep the clay moist while working
