I canât believe no one is thinking about pep roulette, Chelsea finding a new GK, Joao pedro not travelling for pre season tour like it doesnât make sense
People are thinking about the Pep-roulette, but they also know that the roulette is pretty "slow" these last few years. Haaland and Rodri are nailed and plays every game when not injured, Foden got 33 starts last season, more than any Liverpool-midfield, Bernardo 29 starts, Walker, Gvardiol, Akanji, Ruben all between 26-30 starts, KdB plays when fit. Last year it was a pretty clear first 11 when injury free. Now they've only added Savio, that's not going to suddenly make the majority more prone to rotation. There are basically just on the wings and and CBs there are any proper competition
haaland and salah are going to be essential and everyone will have them in their teams sooner or later
i think fpl have done a great job with prices this year, a lot of difficult choices to make

@@thenerdgamer3044 its about competitiveness. The key of dominance is midfield battle. The solid team that will dominate all season must have solid DM + CM. That's the minimum condition. Once you win midfield battle. You can score how much do you want. Arsenal Spurs Liverpool Chelsea Newcastle Westham still favourite for attacking point distribution. While mancity looking too much rotate & too high price. Aston villa losing Luiz. Bad for Watkins.

Also the likes of Oscar Bobb (5.0m) could get quite alot of game time at the beginning of the season, after having a full preseason and most 1st team city players only coming back the week of the community shield

Why no one speaks about Bowen ? Every season is the same, no one include him on their squade and I don't understand why (last season 16 goals 6 assits), can someone explain ?

Starting X11 - 352 Formation
GK: David Raya, Hakan Valdimarsson
DEF: Esri Konsa, Vitali Mykolenko and Josko Gvardiol
MID: Bukayo Saka, Mo.Salah ( C ), Antony Gordon, Bruno Fernandes, Morgan Gibbs-White
ATT: Alexander Isak ( V ) and Jean-Philippe Mateta
Bench: Leif Davis, Joachim Andersen and Adam Armstrong
Verbruggen is an option with him starting at the Euros and playing well and Brightonâs new manager playing a defensive style.
Also Leif Davis might be a good option as Trent in Slotâs system might be more out wide and give that 1v1 on the right a lot.

My 3rd season and itâs the 2nd time in a row Iâll be going No Haaland. His price is justified but Iâm going to focus on attacking midfielders and 3 up front.
This is my current draft-
GK: Pope, Fabianski
DEF: TAA, Dias, Konsa, Andersen, Mykolenko
MID: Salah, Foden, Gordon, Eze, Ădegaard
FWD: Isak, JoĂŁo Pedro, Wood
Currently thinking of switching Ădegaard out for Fernandes, but feeling happy with it at current. I am slightly going off Salah, however, and wonder if I should try to pivot to making a Haaland draft instead
I'm thinking about sacrificing the defense completely, with only 4.5m defs, to get a very strong attack of HĂ„land, Isak, salah, foden, eze, gordon.
Would love to hear some thought about it, it's a bad thing structure wise, and I could ofcourse degrade foden to nkunku to get more Money for defense.. if i want trent og gvardiol

Because of goal threat, plus udogie was injured for a while and Akanji is not nailed.

The same 3 teams, just different players..
i personally like the second option more. hudson odoi feels more nailed and dangerous than wood, haaland is too good to pass up, and jotas a good asset when he plays
My current draft is Pope, Saliba,Trent, Gvardiol, Gordon, Garnacho,Saka, Bailey, Foden, Isak, Watkins, bench - Ward, Andersen, Harwood-Bellis,Wood
I also have Bailey, what makes him better than Eze?

I like the look of Rashford if he starts pre season well, his fixtures are good. Not sure on Munoz because even tho I like him a lot, his fixtures donât do much for me. I think Muniz and Armstrong will do well

Great content but along with other channels itâs ruined my dominance in my leagues :) You could just pick FPL Harry or someone like that and have a really good chance of winning the league with zero knowledge and not one decision made.

Ill probably change Johnson after 2 games for Bailey or Nkunku but who knows once the season kicks off
I wouldnât risk Timber yet, or even Livramento. Apart from that I think itâs solid
Gibbs White will probably be nailed in my team unless Nkunku does extremely well in pre season, I donât see much of an upside with Nkunku considering Gibbs White fixtures are way better and his minutes.

Am I misunderstanding the stats or is something wrong?
best way i can describe this is, if there was 100 players, 39% of them had both Gvardiol and Trent and 40% had trent. That means 39 of those 40 players who have trent also have Gvardiol. 1 person has Trent and no Gvardiol

Goalkeepers should be a long term pick yeah, but we have a wildcard. Same goes for the defenders. Why pick Arsenal GK/Defenders when they have bad opening fixtures and the majority of managers will WC before GW10? Especially with the new bonus points rules going against defenders and goalkeepers.
Made my decision and will go with Haaland instead of Salah. I hope i'll not have to hide behind the sofa for the latter's opener against Ipswich.

I really am curious why nobody has really considered no haaland no salah. Haaland is inconsistent with pep roulette and salah seems to be on a decline. yes they will still both score 200+ most likely. But will Palmer, Foden, Saka and i reckon Isak too. why wouldnt you go without?
I drafted a team without them, really liked it actually. Think the issues come down to captaincy. Think Iâm gonna end up going for a Salah no Haaland draft
