- In this video, I'm sharing Three Press plate Techniques for cards. I'm using the Poppy Greetings Betterpress plate of the Month for January 2024 from Spellbinders but these techniques can easily be done with many different press plates. I love how easy it is to create different looks from the same plate for whatever look you're wanting for you project.

I really couldn't see where you were going with the second card. I was kind of screwing up my face, BUT, Oh My. It turned out to be my favorite of the three! I absolutely love it. I love the look of mixed media, but I am so afraid to try it.
I can totally get not knowing where it was going in the beginning! It looked like a hot mess, but it is my favourite of the 3 as well! 💕
I've never seen that trick with the water suctioning the paper down! I have to try that- i hate when my paper curls!
It works AMAZING but it does make it take longer to dry. Totally worth it imho to not have the paper curl and the inks run where you don’t want them. It’s something I was curious about and tried out a year or 2 ago and worked like a charm! 💕
I’m referring to your standard technique when you blend (light, medium and dark) three Copic markers. I think you start with light…
Oh ok, Yes, you start with light and colour the whole area with the lightest colour, then add shading with the medum colour, then add the darkest shading with the darkest colour. Then go back to the medium colour and blend the darkest into the medium and then go over the whole area with the lightest colour.
The powder tool, who makes it? You used it to cover the adhesive on the last card.

You have a technique (in three steps) for blending Copic markers, would you mind telling me again what that is?
