    I am commenting this after watching ur entire video. I can really say that this has to be the BEST review video by a Slavia owner!! Your videography and cinematography deserves appreciation as well. The shots were amazing and I was actually surprised to see such good shots in ur video. The shooting location was excellent and made the first part of the video even better. All points were covered nicely and all minute details were addressed. I seriously want this video to cross 1 M views ASAP. You have delivered more than expected in this video, and the wait was totally worth it. Hats off to your efforts which can be clearly seen here. Looking forward to see similar quality videos in future as well ❤️

    I will prefer okay okay build quality with excellent safety with good features over a bulletproof build with no features. Just my opinion, I use my car to drive from A to B not to stand on it's doors. Excellent move by Skoda, I appreciate the increase in features, as they are finally giving what a practical Indian wants along with their European masala.

      People in India think in only black and white. They think it's either Tata with 5 star rating and others are garbage. They don't realise Skoda's 10% less build quality still beats others in segment in build quality > city/verna.

      If my kid say's " okay okay build quality with excellent safety"
      My Answer: Beta u either know everything isliye u are speaking like that or u knew nothing about the relation between a platform vs safety/build quality. "Bhagvan ne muh Diya iska matlab yee nahi ki aap kuch bhi boldo" and kud ko pata bhi nahi ki bolna kya chah te ho🥱.
      FEATURES?? Seriously??: Even for an infotainment system one has to use his/her hand for reach. That's not an ALEXA type feature.
      🔥Pls: I need features in using home theatre & controlling T.V & for sensor operated kitchen racks & doors.
      💥"I use my car to drive from Ato B".(correct)
      It means that I use my car to DRIVE but "🚫 not for using FEATURES from A toB🚫.
      💥If features are what matters most then better to buy a bullshit Mercedes Benz brand & make a commode over there & live in it.
      💥 Standing on a door doesn't show it's build quality. It just shows the DOOR HINGE quality. If this is how build quality is measured then all GCAP/NCAP/EURO NCAP etc.... Would implemented the same technology by hanging/ jumping on car doors😑.
      🙏Bulletproof build with no features are ARMY 🪖 TANKERS not cars. Pls don't gutter innocent minds, who wishe to learn something 😒.
      💥 If standing on a door suggests for supreme build quality then where does a ROAD 🛼 ROLLER stand⁉️⁉️
      💯JUST MY OPINION 🕹️

    Personal observations:
    cons
    1. Electrically folding the mirror and the power windows make too much noise.
    2.Plastics around the front AC vent flex quite a lot.
    3.Golden accent running in the dashboards feels weak and flexible.
    4.Suspension noise is too much(when compared to my old car, Nexon)
    (even if you cant feel bumps, you can hear it.)
    5.the buttons of reading light feels absolutely cheap.
    6. rear camera is just ok ok, no guidelines.
    pros:
    1.Refinement is good for a 3cylinder
    2.Performance is nice, once you reach around 2000rpm. Doesnt feel like a 1.0L engine.
    3.AC is good for me(better than Nexons)
    4.Door thud is good ,better than koreans, but not as good as nexons. (thud in slavia feels more like a 'clunk')
    5.14.5laks on road, features are good enuf
    6.mileage is good enuf, 13 in city 18 in highway

    Sunderdeep congrats for new car. As you know I'm big fan of German engineering and VW Skoda. MQBA0 IN been biased against Indians. Finally I got Jeep compass petrol and good decision.
    VW really hired sleeper cells.
    Just compare TRoc around 23L German built vs Taigun 22.5L localised.
    They should learn something from Jeep where without compromising quality they localised in India and exporting to 26 countries.
    Other side, VW totally launched cheap material specific to Indians. Treated Indians still as 3rd world country.
    VW Skoda, what was stopping them to offer same German cars with same quality with localisation?

    • @SunderdeepSingh
      @SunderdeepSingh  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Pradeep, I beg to disagree because these are completely different segment cars. One starts from less than 11 lacs & other from 17.50 lacs
      These are fine cars & perhaps segment best for what they offer as per the price. I felt good & hence picked Slavia. This whole quality issue is over exaggerated. Compass is definitely a great car but straight 40% expensive.

    • @pradeepm.s.6944
      @pradeepm.s.6944 Před 2 lety +2

      @@SunderdeepSingh yes I agree Jeep it's bit 4-5L over priced. I'm not comparing any segments. It's all about VW Skoda strategy of straight forward cost cutting left right center. Why not same cost cutting in Europe. There is no benefit of localisation to end customers.

    • @Manpreetsingh-ro8vg
      @Manpreetsingh-ro8vg Před 2 lety +1

      @@pradeepm.s.6944 VW does not want to reduce their profit margin. Cost cutting from localisation in the form of reduced quality has been compensated by giving more features. I do not fully blame vag for this coz if you look purely at number of Indians giving preference to quality over features is minimal - Caruti fuzuki case in point.
      But yea, after seeing the Taigun in person, I got same thoughts that vw decided to compromise on their core values and just cash in on from the so called brand value……. But as compared to competitors, still a great product.

    • @pradeepm.s.6944
      @pradeepm.s.6944 Před 2 lety

      @@Manpreetsingh-ro8vg Manpreet, after test drive i felt like my just exchanged wagonr, i felt it's 9L value car not worth of 22.5L investment.
      They would have made profit just with localisation without quality compromise and export from here like my new Jeep compass.
      It's double hammer 🔨 to Indians one no cost benefit second quality compromise.
      I challenge VW Skoda same product sell it in Germany or any European country.

    • @Manpreetsingh-ro8vg
      @Manpreetsingh-ro8vg Před 2 lety

      @@pradeepm.s.6944 The challenge is useless as it is the company’s prerogative what kind of quality they want to offer and in which region , More so when coming from MS owner. Have you ever questioned Suzuki on their build quality and non existent of safety on their cars?
      My concern is/was I wanted to see similar level of quality in new vw cars as seen in vento/polo. As compared to competitors, vw is still better.
      Also, I challenge Caruti fuzuki to manufacture cars with similar build quality that vw is offering in their new cars in India.
      I have not talked about the TSI engine technology, heard any innovation from Suzuki?

    Things I love in cars of this price range:
    City: Ergonomics, feature distribution, looks, reliability, resale value, good service, 4 airbags standard
    Slavia: fresh looks, good ground clearance without body roll, build quality, pure engineering
    Verna: pasand nhi hai personally.
    Seltos: great looks, various engine and transmissions to choose from, ride quality, interior build quality.
    Creta: just one thing-sunroof, otherwise it nothing special

      Seltos: bulletproof safety
      Creta: looks bad(TW) and it is too strong(can bear the weight of 3 elephants; I'm jealous cause of that.

    mix city + highway drive - 17.12 kmpl
    city drive only with no bumper to bumper traffic- 14 kmpl
    city + highway drive with long traffic jams and bumper to bumper traffic - 12.8 kmpl
    Haven't done a purely highway with no traffic and a city bumper to bumper tank to tank check so can't comment on that. But on a recent trip, the MID showed 19.2 kmpl on a fairly busy highway with broken roads with AC on. Previously have got 21 kmpl on good highway without AC as per MID.

    Lack of a diesel engine is still refraining me from considering any VAGs as of now. For my needs and requirements everything is present apart from a diesel engine. Fuel efficiency is a major factor for my driving and due to that i will choose Verna over any other sedans at this price point because of it being powerful, torquey and at the same time extremely fuel efficient.

    Sir i am planning to buy skoda slavia 1•5L but i have concern. about some of the things :
    1)DSG gear box reliability issue
    2) seating comfort
    Can uh please tell me about this things !

    • @siddharthpathak3394
      @siddharthpathak3394 Před 2 lety

      Seating comfort is already mentioned in the video ? DQ200 DSG gearbox will fail someday if not kept properly. I have seen people whose DSG gearbox haven't failed even after 8-9 years and 1lac plus kms but they might be just lucky or take great care of their gearbox like shift it to N or P within 3-4 sec as the car comes to a halt to prevent overheating of gearbox or avoid it in bumper to bumper traffic often. I think you should buy the DQ200 DSG only if -
      1) You're not going to use the car in conditions that will heat up the gearbox often or take good care to protect it
      2) Going to sell the car in 5 years
      3) Are mentally prepared for on an average 2 breakdowns in a span of 10 years (one breakdown under warranty and one from your pocket).

    Question: Do you feel a slight lag in D mode when starting off from a stop? Creep function was ok, but pushing the pedal lightly I found a little reluctance before the speed picking up. Is it a TSI engine thing? (Found this issue with no load)

    But there strategy to charge a premium on vw products than Skoda is beyond my understanding. I hope they don't make this mistake with the upcoming virtus. There shouldn't be sea diff in pricing when both the cars are essentially the same. Don't know why vw line up is ranked above or has been provided a more aspirational value than Skoda.

    Hi , Which is the best car under 25 lakhs
    Wanted to purchase troc , but discontinued for now
    Xuv700:high waiting period , more than a year
    Taigun / kushaq : cramped rear seats for a 6 feet + height person
    Honda city : no sedan at least + not so great build
    Innova : expensive and no value for money
    Tiguan : out of budget
    Harrier/safari : overdone looks and below avg fit and finish interior doesn’t seem to be well made , lots of panel gaps , and that pathetic touchscreen😡
    Options shortlisted : Jeep Compass limited petrol AT (fun to drive factor missing + rear seat comfort), mg hector sharp cvt (long term reliability+that donkey ,Chinese car image ), Hyundai Tucson(not interested for Hyundai as upgrading from a Honda car)
    Hence , no perfect car under 25-27 lakhs budget 🥲 , no skoda Octavia (low headroom +not a proper family car)
    Will go for asking the price quotation for superb/Tiguan ,if they give me some discount , ready to pay if comes under 32 lacs after discounts

    Just one query, you have been a big proponent of safety so I am not able to digest the fact that you bought a 15 lac car which is offering just 2 airbags (compared to City VX CVT which offers 6 and costs around 40k more with other added features). I understand you and your wife did not like the City but then there were other options in the market hatchbacks or CSUVs which would offer more airbags as well as proven safety ratings.
    Yes the Slavia offers a great package but at this price point one expects to get all safety features, given the fact that this platform has still not been tested by GNCAP.
    Honestly, Skoda has vastly underspecced the Active and Ambition variants on both Kushaq and Slavia and don't offer a better VFM product as compared to competitors. Only the Style variant makes sense to me.

    • @SunderdeepSingh
      @SunderdeepSingh  Před 2 lety +2

      See, as I said in the vid that i20 Asta-O was booked but we picked Slavia as soon as I realised that it’s just 2.50 lac difference than i20. We would drive this car mostly in City & thoroughly trust safety from the sides & rear as per the past track record of Skoda.
      City didn’t had feel good factor & VX was almost a lac expensive. Honda’s future is little under clouds too. Many such factors play in the mind. However, I definitely agree that City is more VFM.
