I had mislooked the name cutter to cuter, i thought this is just a cute mv since i hadn't been watching it properly and only listened the music until I realized the wrong minutes ago. Fuck, it's literally depression

After watching this mv for the 10th (can't blame me, ok? The song is too good) I can start to see a theme going on here
From the beginning, the background is cheerful and full of color, probably symbolizing her youthfulness. She also have a very big heart
At 0:54 the heart is cut in half, representing some kind of heart break or someone cheated on her (I'm betting on the 2nd interpretation
From 0:54 to 1:30 is her falling into the cycle of self-harm and refusing to move on (symbolized by the paper clip over the heart but the heart still falls apart)
From 1:30 onward you can see that her heart is patched up, presumably with tape dispenser and stapler. The chopped up and patched up rabbit also symbolizes the same thing
At 1:54 you can see the girl being happy with her patched up heart but still having scissors and knives sticking into her. This symbolize her still finding happiness in life and the wound from the old days is still a part of her but she doesn't seem to mind.
If you look pass the gore, you can see a story about healing old wounds and moving on from bad memories. Every single time I watch this, I got chills from the 1:44 scene with the chopped up rabbit, probably because it hits too close to home. Overall, another great entry for BOFXVI, the competition is really heating up now

you forgot about the drugs being inserted into the patched up bunny heart. i feel the ending is more darker than this
that's a lighter take, but I think its just about someone who liked to cut themselves so much it eventually killed them despite attempts to help. She was cutting herself in the 1st half in a more cartoony fashion, her limbs and wounds filling with sharp office supplies. One set of wounds first filled with clocks, tacks, then hearts. maybe that monotony and boredom eventually causes her to self harm to get some sort of feeling, but it goes so far that she actually starts seriously hurting herself. After that she is medicated in some way which "fixes" her heart but in the end she just tears herself apart once again.

Her suffering ends when she overdose herself, at the end you can see her smile before dying

参考にもならないような穿った解釈かもしれないけれど…
最初の方はたぶん比較的正常
0:31以降は一見ショッキングだけど、体の切れ方はコミカルで、血も出てないから比喩的な要素が強いんだと思う
冒頭の胸元で鼓動するハートや、頭と下半身からハートが出てくる表現は、恋愛感情とかそういうものを連想させる
ハート以外に頭から出てきたのは直線定規と三角定規。距離感を気にしている？
ハート以外に下半身から出てきたのは時計と画鋲。共通点を見つけるなら…針がある、さす（指す/刺す）物という程度か
女の子の下半身（腹部？）から出てきた辺りから下世話な想像をしてしまうし、画鋲が「留めるもの」というのも…
また、（コミカルではあるが）全身を切り刻むような表現から、「身を切る」という言葉が連想される
そして少女の右頬には、最初から絆創膏が貼ってある
以上から、おそらく女の子は恋をしており、また恐らくは幸福な関係ではないと読み取れるように思う
右腕と左腕から出てきたものの意味は正直良くわからない…
0:53からは黒背景や流血表現など物騒なものになる
この切り替わりの部分でハートが切られており、またその直後に、女の子の頭から出ている大量のハート（らしきもの）が切れたカットが入っている。失恋？
女の子の目元に涙が浮かんでいる点からも、女の子が悲しんでいることが読み取れる
以前からあった右頬の絆創膏が血で滲むようになっている。また、スカートが血で濡れていないのに、その下から血が流れる様になっている（穿ち過ぎだと思う）
また、ここから初めて曲名の「Cutter」が出てくる。つまりそれまでは「Cutter」ではない？
以上から、おそらく女の子は失恋（または破局）した。それが切っ掛けで自傷行為をするようになったのか、過去に「身を切った」部分を傷と認識するようになったのか、またはその両方か
1:29からは再び白背景になる、が…
切れたハートをクリップで留める（ズレた形で留まる）→枡記号？（〼）が一瞬だけ、ハートを囲うように、または修正するかのように出る→塗りつぶされるかのような演出とともに突然消える
繋ぎ留められたハートに錠剤を投与する描写。1:54を見る限り、ハート（心？）は留められているが全身は傷だらけのままというのも考えると、向精神薬、もしくは麻薬の類か
切られて補修されるも中から刃物が出て切れるウサギ→刃物と☓マーク、という描写も併せると、自傷（または過去の心の傷？）から逃げるために薬に頼ったか？
ただ、1:55以降の文房具（だったもの）が次々出てくる場面でカッターが出てきたり、ラストシーンでもカッターを持っている（出血も止まっていない）のを見る限り、自傷は止まってない
（ここを0:19以降と比較すると、定規とハート、画鋲と薬、消しゴムと薬、テープとカッターが対応し、また一致する三角定規と時計は異常になっているのが判る。薬は恐らくその手前と対応し、ハートを繋ぎ留め≒画鋲、時間を忘れる/消す≒消しゴム、となっているように思う。同じく留める道具のテープにカッターが対応しているが、カッターの直後にハート目の女の子→薬と続くので、恐らく自傷→薬というルーチンが出来ていると思われる）
まとめると、ろくでもない男の虜になって捨てられた女の子が自傷癖を患い、更に薬物依存にまで陥って、自傷して薬を飲んでを繰り返した末に（主観的には）幸せなまま自殺って感じがする
