Slowly We Rot was still is absolutely insane!! To this day the album holds up STRONG! Was Amazing then and it's AMAZING now a must own LP & CD for any true Metal head collector. If Obituary Slowly We Rot isn't in your CD or LP collection then you may as well collect Brittney Spears or Rod Stewart because you never knew metal in the 1st place.
I couldn't agree more. It's the same with the a lot of the classic death metal bands from the late 80's and early 90's that still hold up strong and always will do.
@@WALDENSOFTWARE Chiming in here... I'm "middle school" came in when Metallica had taken over and "metal was dead"... I like the original because it's as raw as it gets - but because this mix sounds cleaner, I use this when im home alone and able to crank the volume... Just my 2 c
@Whuttup Cuz The lore behind the original though, how it was recorded, pressed and released on a shoestring budget and helping birth an entire genre I cool as hell
This was actually the first version I heard. I find this version darker and heavier then the old one, especially the intro. I heard the original after and didnt like it as much.
Creeps the shit out of one. What the fuck music teacher told them to slow down on every break? Cannot people play their own music anymore? Thank God we got the original where justice is done.

As someone who enjoys death-doom, this is pretty phenomenal
This is the best version I think!
I prefer the original by a lot! But I am old school. Are you older or younger generation? Just curious as to who likes what and what not.

Why is bass so quiet in this mix? I hate it
