Ma’am you have been such a big help, I was so stressed with shipping and getting a label as Vinted didn’t send us a QR label so I had to actually print it off and idk if it’ll work 🙂 but this video was a big help

So, I'm yet to sell anything on vinted...but I'm still confused about shipping. Do we not list the shipping price? It says we must get a quote from our respective shipping provider, but where do I put this quoted amount on my listing?

Thanks for the info! Two quick questions- it doesn't matter what size box you use to send once the weight is correct? And if you are dropping off at eg Mondial Relay do you need to use the closest pne to home? Thanks!!
They have limits for the size of the package so you can’t use boxes bigger than their limit. And you can drop it at any Mondial relay, it doesn’t matter where it is

What do you do if you have selected a digital label? How do they work?
I don’t have access to a printer.. how do I select the option for a digital label for every sell I make? Recently I’ve had to cancel quite a few sales due to it being a printed label and not a digital label.

Hey! 👋 I use English because I live in Belgium (they speak 2 languages, so don’t know what to use that’s why I used a 3rd one 😅) but people find me from Belgium, France and Spain so I guess it doesn’t matter that much. You could write it in both languages, but like you said the app is translating everything so I don’t the language is important 🤷🏼♀️ maybe try for example 1-2 week to have it in Italian and 1-2 weeks in English and see if there is a change in buyers or favorites and than decide 😄
Hi, So vinted will send me a QR code to take to my local shop where I can get the posting label printed out. I've had a problem in the past bc vinted didn't send me a QR code so I couldn't send this ?

Hi Madalina, I've just joined Vinted and made three "supposed" sales on the first day, but no label to download and print anywhere for all 3 of them. This is so frustrating! What should I do? And Vinted customer services is no help whatsoever as their automated message states that I might have to wait for more than 48 hours for their response!!!

what're access points/relay points? Can items be shipped directly to the buyers front door from these points? Or do they have to be picked up by the buyer from the point?
They are stores where you can drop packages. And the packages have to be picked up from another point. They are not sent to your door
I used qr code first time. I brought the package to the point, got a tracking nr. But on vinted its not updated? Im panicing now

Thanks 😊 I bought them from AliExpress but you can find them also on Amazon. It takes longer until you receive it but it’s cheaper than on other websites. I think I have a link in the description of the video

The thing is, if the buyer already pays, the label will have a barcode and the people at the drop point need that code for tracking and sending it further. I don’t know if there are other prepaid labels without the barcode. So I guess if the label that you get when someone pays doesn’t have a barcode than you can write it by hand, otherwise I don’t think so. You could ask the shipping company if they can receive the package with a handwritten label, they might say yes🤷🏼♀️ but I don’t know... hope that helps 😊
Hi Maddie! Bedankt voor deze video. Het hielp me enorm! Ik heb nog wel een vraag, want ik begrijp de verzendkosten bij Bpost, Post NL nog niet zo goed. Hoe kan Vinted weten hoeveel de verzendkosten gekost hebben? Of moet je dit zelf laten weten aan de koper?
Vinted heeft vaste prijzen voor verzending. Je hoeft alleen maar de maat te kiezen: small, medium, large en de koper ziet de prijzen wanneer ze het artikel kopen.

I don’t think you can offer free shipping because the buyer pays it automatically. The shipping price is not in the price of the item that you sell, it’s separate. You can offer to make the price of the item smaller but they will still pay for shipping. For example the item is 10€ and shipping is 3 € than you can make the price for the item 7€ +3€ shipping, so in the end they pay 10€ in total. But I don’t understand why you would do that🤷🏼♀️ Or you could use an outside of Vinted shipping method and pay the shipping yourself but that is not safe because you can’t be sure if you will receive money after. I wouldn’t recommend to do that, but is your choice

Hi :) I’ve just sold my first item on vinted and was wondering if you could help? I don’t have a pre paid postage label so I assume I’ve got to write it myself but on the postage instructions it mentions about adding a tracking number. Is this necessary? If so, how do I get one without a barcode. Can the item be shipped without a barcode if there is proof of postage. Thanks :)
Hi! Yes you can send it without a barcode. For the shipping without prepaid postage you have to pay in advance, so at the post office or whatever shipping option it is you have to ask for tracking. Otherwise the buyer can’t see where the package is and if the package is lost you both get the money back. After the buyer receives the package, you will receive the money for the item and postage. So just write the address and the name on a paper, put it on the package, ask for a tracking number when you pay for shipping and done.

No. It all depends on what shipping options chooses the buyer. They can choose to pay for the shipping first and you get a label ( just put it on the package and drop it where the buyer chose) or they can can choose for example normal post offices ( there you pay first, send a picture with the receipt of the payment and than get the money back)
I have a digital label that I need to print of myself but it just has a name and barcode and nothing else on it. Does the barcode have all the information on it?? I'm confused.

Hey😄 Well, as long as the clothes are looking decent, if you describe them well, write in the description if they have any defects and maybe put a picture with it, I think they won’t complain. Just be honest in the description, don’t edit the colors of the photo and everything will be fine. That’s my opinion 🤷🏼♀️ just don’t care that much about it

Do you know how to get a qr code from vinted. I took a parcel to Evri for postage but they couldn't print the label for me as I have no printer but they said I needed a qr code from vinted and then she could scan and print. Please help cos I ended up sending it by first class post

I am not sure about this, but you can change your address if you leave on another place, even if it’s for a week or 2

So when you print the shipping label should it be sticky like a sticker or can it just be paper and you cello tape it on?
You can choose what you want. I just print a normal paper and use clear tape to fix it on the package, it’s cheaper that way 😄

I don’t know what he means by that 🫤 if he paid you should get the label in a few minutes. And dhl doesn’t pack anything they just ship the package. Maybe you should ask him that

You can use whatever you want. I use plastic bags, but as long as they don’t break during shipping everything is good 😄
So technically we can just print the label out and stick it ourselves with some glue or tape, we don't need a special label printer that prints the label already with glue on it? Thank you

You need to buy packaging, you can order online or maybe you have a store that sells them next to you, but I think online is cheaper

hello thanks for the vid. may i ask a question? what happens if the byer receives the parcal but is naughty and pretends they never received a package, can they have their money refunded back to them, and then the seller is left with nothing, no money and has also lost item too!
There is tracking on all Vinted parcels so they will talk to the delivery company and see that the parcel was delivered. And if the parcel is “lost”, vinted will intervene if the clam sounds fake

I don’t know, I don’t think so, you have to ask at your shop🤷🏼♀️
Your local library will print it usely for 10p 20p
Then stick it on your parcel and then take it to the collection shop
Hi can you explain why sometime it says “pending balance” I won’t process and I haven’t get the shipping label either .
All payments from buyers will stay in pending balance until the buyer has received the package and confirms that they got the package or 2 days after they received it. Than the money will go to active balance and than you can use them to buy something else on Vinted or put them on your bank account. For the shipping label you can find instructions in the conversation with the buyer.
How shall I arrange a return label for my buyer they wants to return an item
They have your address so they have to make a label or put it at the post office. It’s not your problem if they want to return the item
I have an item that sold on vinted and the buyer sent me a downloadable shipping label, on my page it said buyer paid £3 but not the postage. I’m unsure how this works as it’s my first time. It’s a hat I was selling and not sure whether I would get the money for postage or not
Normally it doesn’t say the price for the shipping, or it says 0£ because it was already paid and you don’t have to pay anything. Could you tell me the name of the shipping company, please ? It’s easier to know if they paid or not

Maybe Vinted is not available in your country. Normally you should have it there. Try to see in help center-shipping-I’m a seller-shipping routes& providers for sellers. There you can see if you find your country and what methods you can have. If there is something there, maybe you can contact Vinted. Or if you didn’t post Any items yet it can be that you have no shipping method 🤷🏼♀️
This isn;t worth the stress ,all day wrapping and trying to send a £3 item?-i'm already in the red,£ shops told me that I need a QR code-and there isn't one,or an option to even get one
Note to UK don't use Royal mail you have to claim your money back for postage and don't use Evrie if you can help it they alway lost packages 😊

So I already packed the package and taped it secure. You said I could put the bottom part of the label inside the package or fold the paper, but it is still required to be part of the package?
It’s written on that part you have to put it inside the package, but I honestly don’t know the use of that paper 🤷🏼♀️ I would say to put it in there anyway, it’s not like it’s affecting the weight of the package

How to Inserting the piece of paper [ Pro Forma Invoice ] into a sealed package: Fold the piece of paper [ Pro Forma Invoice ] so that it is much smaller in size, so that it can be inserted into the sealed package that you forgot to put in into, if no gap / opening is available to do this, simply cut a small opening ... being sure to only cut the packaging when the part that you wish to cut is NOT IN CONTACT with the item(s) inside the package, once you have created a small opening / slit, insert the folded piece of paper [ Pro Forma Invoice ] then apply tape to seal the opening / slit. 2/. A 'Pro Forma Invoice' is enclosed with the item(s) as a courtesy, the details given on it will remind your customer what they ordered and from whom.

For most of the shipping options you will need to print the label, yes

Normally you can find the label or the buyers address in the conversation with the buyer. If they chose a shipping option with labels that are made by that company, you have to just press download and print it from your email. If they chose a company that doesn’t make labels, you have to write/print the address . It all depends on which shipping option they chose.
What if you don’t have a printer for when they already paid a barcode and stuff
You can send the Buyer a message saying that you can’t send it with that shipping option or you can ask someone to print it for you. If you really can’t print it than deactivate that shipping option

You have to pay for the packaging yourself

Probably you don’t have Vinted shipping options in your region or you should contact Vinted 🤷🏼♀️

I can’t help you. You should not have available the options that have premade labels for printing if you don’t have a printer. You can cancel the order or ask a neighbor/friend to print it for you, or go to a store that can print papers. I don’t know how to help you if the shop said no…

No, depends on the shipping options. If its a prepaid label you just print it and put it on your packet and than send it. If you have to send it by post than you pay first the shipping and when the buyer receives the package you will receive the shipping money back

Heey ik weet dat deze video oud is maar ik vond je uitleg echt helemaal perfect het heeft mij echt geholpen want ik ben net begonnen met verkopen en ik vond het een beetje eng om eraan te beginnen maar nu weet ik ongeveer hoe de app werkt. Ik had eigenlijk een vraagje dus de koper betaald op het moment zelf toch en ontvang ik dan het geld op dat moment? en als dat gebeurd is moet ik gwn het pakket inpakken en dan versturen en bij sommige Posts moet je zelf de verzendkosten betalen en je ontvangt het als de koper het heeft ontvangen of heb ik het fout?
Je begreep het goed. Iemand betaalt voor een artikel en je kan het binnen 5 werkdagen opsturen. Je hebt pas toegang tot het geld als de andere persoon het pakket heeft ontvangen. Meestal is het pakket al betaald door de koper

If you are packing up a Jean jacket or jeans would it be medium or large also do you have to book to send your parcel online also do you have to type in the weight and pay to send the parcel or just print the label and take it to the parcelshop drop off.
The size of the package depends on the weight so you have to weigh the jeans to see in which category fits (I would guess medium). You can see the categories when you post the item or in edit. And you don’t have to book anything, the buyer pays for shipping and depending on the shipping options that they chose, you have to print the label and send it. Address and name yes. You can write it by hand or in a word doc. But you can do this only if the buyer didn’t pay for a specific shipping option that has premade labels ( example: Mondial relay, dhl, ups, dpd, correos, relais colis, chronopost)
