The Necrons from Warhammer 40k is Necropunk. There are resurrected souls in mettalic skeleton bodies.

On what defines a zombie I like seeing them as mindless beings and/or reanimated beings.
Mindless Beings - Last of Us, World War Z, 28 Days Later
Reanimated Beings - Frankenstein, Living Dead franchise, The Revenant (2009)

I wouldn't call frankenstein's monster a zombie, its something else entirely.....
With that being said, to add to mindless beings: george romero's movies. (Some of if not the earliest examples of zombies as we know them today)

I became apathetic about this genre when I heard that zombie was also slang for special needs people. Still love Robocop because it's considered Cyberpunk.

If Necropunk is reanimated dead through technology, what would be the fantasy equivalent punk genre? (one that is widely established, please.)

@@NylasWUP nvm, i just went with gothpunk since that is only very dark and edgy and could be both sci-fi and fantasy, so i thought that medieval Victorian edgelord necromancers was a good way to go.

I know you've done just about every punk sub-genre, but i was wondering if you could do a video on steelpunk (the punk genre that focuses more on hardware then software, resulting in stuff like mad max or turbo kid)
