Women in HVAC Give Tour of Cooling Tower, Walk-in Cooler, Maintenance Tips & More

Dear Diary,
It was a busy, exciting, interesting week in HVAC/R land. This week we:
- Finished up our project at the salmon hatchery where we replaced a condensing unit on a water cooling system for fish egg incubation
- Replaced the water pump motor on a BAC cooling tower
- Replaced a thermostat/temperature controller for a walk-in cooler on a catering truck
- Replaced 2 evaporator fan motors in a 9-door reach in freezer at a meat shop
- Checked out a very interesting wine cellar cooling system
- Replaced some parts in a unit heater in a warehouse
- Checked out a little panel AC unit at a cardboard factory

Q: Does swaging copper tubing eliminate the need to add fittings?

Yes, correct. It expands the end of a tube just a bit to allow another pipe of the same size to slide into it.
