As the old saying goes...VANITY DIES HARD.....this was a great short with a real Twilight Zone feel about it....Essie clearly forgot Rule #283 of surviving a horror film: never open an anonymous gift-wrapped box that is left on your doorstep.

Very well done! I really love the sense of dread you accomplished right out the gate. It does feel like there's slightly more characters than necessary and conversely not enough character or intentionalities/origin story from the mask itself. It's a tall order to get an audience to fear something inanimate even if it is SUPER DEVILISH! Great job here all around.
