You could always reverse the folds on the right side so it always folds under not over ! :)

I did like how you do that cuz I always have a little strips about that narrow left over and I save them I don't know why I save them but now I can know what to do with them make little ruffled embellishments like that and they do look cute with little flowers on top of them or something that is a good idea to use up all your little scraps too thanks for sharing that with us

I’ve been making these for weeks and just love them! They are so cute and fun! I glue them or I use my Tiny attacher and staple a line across the middle instead of sewing (I don’t have a sewing machine)...
