This was Danielle finishing the half marathon ❤
Thanks Wayne!! So happy that you shared this!
@freddyruns you are fantastic mate you inspire so many people especially Danielle and she was so happy with her time. Thankyou so much ❤
Hi Freddy it’s Danielle. I finished with a personal best of 2hours 50 and I don’t think I would have done it without your encouragement. It really kept me going. It was a wonderful run and a great day and I had such a fab time. Made a friend for life!! Thanks so much for keeping me going😊
Congrats Danielle!
Congratulations Danielle. Great to hear this, well done 👏
Well done! 🎉
Great work Danielle. Great running. You'll take lumps off that next time. We're all runners 👍
Danielle!!! Soooo happy for you!! You worked your little socks off and deserve that PB!!! Outstanding effort! Really proud of you! 🥇👏😎👊 maybe see you back there next year for that 4:40?!?!
Congrats! This reminded me of my 2:10 pacer last week in Ottawa. She ran it like clockwork, gave encouragement and advice and certainly made a big difference for my very first big event. I remember how she told us she would encourage us to ho ahead at km 18, which my colleague did and order as at km 21. I took off some time in between and in this field of almost 9000 missed her later to thank her. So thanks to you for all the pacers, Freddy
Awesome work Freddie, you've inspired me to sign up as the 2 hour pacer for Barnstaple half marathon in September
Thank you!! You won’t regret it, it’s the most fun! 😊
Brilliant pacing. I felt invested in Danielle's efforts to stay with you so can only imagine how hard it was to stay to pace when leaving her. Great work
Thanks Mark, it was difficult to leave her - so happy she still managed a PB though 😊
Freddy, you come across as such a nice guy and now that I've met you I know without question this is true. Just loved all your constant support to every runner you past. Thanks for the name add on this too 👍
Al, was great meeting you! Looking forward to hopefully getting a run in with you soon!! (And a podcast chat!!) 😊
Great run mate and you paced Danielle for a great PB. Congratulate.
She didn’t brilliantly in the end 😊
It still blows my mind, from where things were when you first started this Chanel. Now you’re not just finishing half marathons yourself, you’re pacing others to their goal. 🤯 mind blown ;) ps - sad to see the old Baja Beach club (buffalo joes) looking alittle derelict :(
It’s confusing me too 😂. Life is on a good path at the minute 😊
Baja was awesome 20 years ago, miss that place!!
@@freddyruns shows how long ago it was last time I was there lol
WOW! Fantastic job pacing, it doesn't get better than that! I was so happy I actually smiled ear to ear the first time Daniele caught up! I would love to have a pacer like you! Are you going to do more?
I always get a little stronger the last mile, while the people who have been dragging me on over the miles get more tired. I always use the "don't let me beat you", etc to encourage them at the end. Works like a charm!
Thanks Kelly, I’ll definitely be doing more pacing, it was too much fun! 😊
That was a really inspiring task you took on, and you nailed it 😎
Thanks mate - it was really good fun! Definitely do that again
Well done Freddy, great coverage of the race and support for other runners, and good to meet you briefly 😀 see you next time maybe !
Thanks Matt, it was rather brief wasn’t it! 🤣. Definitely look out for you at future events! 😎
Top pacing. Isnt it great to pace other people. Its great to see people finishing happy 👌
Thanks Stu! It's the most fun isn't it!
Well done Freddy it looked like you never broke sweat.great pacing
It was just great fun Paul, absolutely loved it!
Great work Freddy! It's real stuff like this that makes me love this channel!
Thank you mate, I enjoy these ones 😊
Excellent pacing but omg those hills !!!
They were a real treat weren’t they 🤣
Brilliant 👏 Well done all involved 👏
Great job pacing and great job to Danielle who crushed it in 2:50
It’s me!! I am Danielle and I absolutely had a wonderful time. Freddy really kept me going. And I got a personal best of 2 hours 50 which I don’t think I could have done without him. I feel like I made a friend for life ❤
Thank you! ☺️
@@patisseriequeen Hi Danielle and congrats! This is a wonderful place, full of sweet humans who only want to lift us all up. I have been running for 60 years but seeing how committed you were was so inspirational. And I have another thing in common with you, even though I have never meet Freddy and live in Florida, I feel like I have a friend for life as well. Keep going Danielle, we all look forward to your journey.
What a gorgeous location. I'm super inspired by you and danielle. Fantastic job nailing that pace and being such a wonderful cheerleader for people out there.
Thank you Rob! It was such a good run!
It's such a beautiful thing you did for folks! You were an awesome cheerleader! I was hoping Danielle would finish with you...I wanted to watch her cross the finish line. she was definitely out there killing it! Awesome video!
Thank you! I’m so happy that we found out Danielle still got a PB! So good! 😊
Great job! This is something I really want to do. Pacers have got me to the finish line with so many Pb’s and at some point I’d like to give back and help someone achieve their goal too. Well done!
Honestly Carl, it is so much fun. None of the pain, just a day full of fun - helping others out!
Great job Freddy , really nice closing couple of minutes , nice words -well said 👊👊
Thank you mate, it’s all true ☺️
@@freddyrunsI could tell , I could relate to it as well. I did some pacing recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ll probably try and do it a couple of times a year now. Hopefully you will aswell 👍🏻 top job and congrats on the PB in your other HM (Sunderland) today , seen it on Strava 🏃♂️💨💨
Good work, dudey. It’s a lot of time on feet to be watching the clock and pacing well. Seems like a great run!
Thanks Mack! It was a cracking run, made better by the runners I got to chat with 😊
Amazing pacing mate! Inspired me to sign up for a pacer place
Do it Jamie, it’s the best fun!
Great stuff, and well done pacing so well - you'll have been responsible for a fair few PBs! I've got Chester Half next weekend (first time attempting an event further than 10km) but I haven't really had chance to train for it (signed up on a whim with run club buddies), so I'm looking at around a 2:30-2:45 finish time for my initial outing. Will try to stick to the 2:30 pacer but I imagine I'll settle with the 2:40!!
Thanks John! Best of luck mate, let me know how it goes!!
Awesome job. It's great to have a consistent pacer.
Thank you! I really enjoyed that one!
Brilliant work mate 🤟🤟
Thanks Steve, was great to see you mate!!
Well done!!!
thank you! ☺️
I am running the Hamptons 10k tomorrow. I got peroneal tendonitis and my physio reluctantly allowed me to run it (with lots of warnings and conditions haha) so I will definitely be back of the pack. I am still new to running and excited about the idea of getting on a train just for a race, so did not want to drop from it.
Good luck! I hope all goes well! 🤞😊
Nicely done on the PB dude, smashed your goal. It’s a shame I didn’t know you were down in Surrey a few weeks ago as I run in that area quite a lot as I’m local and could have taken you to Leith Hill and the north downs. I’ve got a video up there myself actually. If you are even down in Surrey/Sussex again let me know and I will come for a run with you 💪🫡
Definitely keep that one in mind mate, hoping to get back down there again soon 👍
Awesome job freddy, well done🎉
Thank you! 😃
